The advantage for criminals is they only have to discard the barrel rather than the whole gun to avoid a match in ballistics reports. Was this gun designed with that in mind? I see no reason a legitimate owner would want one of these but then I see no legitimate reason anyone would want to own a gun. You collectors just keep making the work of the police harder and harder. I'm not surprised he changed his barrel to 2" it probably suits him better. Yeah, you hit the nail right on the head. This gun costs around 1500 bucks. It's complicated and it is unusual. It's perfect for criminals. (sarcasm is heavy here, so try to keep up.) What is a "legitimate owner?" You say that as if it means something. The guy on the video is obviously a collector. He appreciates the differences of the weapon. It is unusual, but it is an effective firearm. He is an Italian, so I guess you think that makes him a criminal. Why don't you just come out and call him a wop? The weapon he is showing is expensive. Criminals tend to go for guns that are cheap and easy to get rid of. Read a little about firearms before you start casting your racist aspersions.
