greetings all
i have been on this site for a few months now and it seems to me that alot of the so called lifestyle peopel on here dont really know what they want they seem to be usein ghtis site for sex, or for excitement for there own pleasure maybe i am wrong in this but i thought and have allways thought the life style was to bring people of the same mind together for doms to train,teach and also learn from others and for everyone to better them selves ?

You're making judgements on people you don't even know. Your idea of "lifestyle" is totally different to everyone elses. What's my thing might not be yours, nor yours mine, etc.

Heaven forbid people use a free dating and network site to get what they want - including casual sex.

This lifestyle doesn't have set rules. Just like "vanillas" (scary, I know) we have the option of commiting for life, just fucking around or doing something in the middle.

It's a dating site for people who want some form of kink in their lives, and you seem to think that wanting sex, being here for their own pleasure, to get excitement is somehow wrong, and for the life of me i cannot see why. There is a whole spectrum of kink out there, some self centric, others more sex orientated than D/s or M/s, some pure fetish, and if you cannot understand that basic fact you won't be happy on any of the kink sites around.

There are time wasters and teasers even in the vanilla world, what makes you think it's any different because there is some form of kink involved? Behind the kink are human beings with all the same characteristics and traits, both good and damned annoying as in the rest of society, you just have to get over that fact and stay focused on what you want out of the site, rather than dissing what you don't.

Tell me, what brought this little rant on in the first place?

People come here for a lot of different reasons. There are some who are here just as a socializing network, some are here to learn a bit before venturing out, some are here to find casual play or sex, some are here to find "the one", some are here to be rescued, some are here to exhibit their kink, some are here to get cheap thrills, some are here to play out their fantasies, some are here to drum up business, some are here to find victims for their scams, some are a mixture of several of the above, and some have no idea why they are here. It makes for a lot to wade through so bring your rubber boots. You will waste some time, but what else do you have to do?

This is a free web site and it serves many different purposes.  Some do use it as a hook up site for sex.  Hey, sex is a good thing.  Others find pleasure here or through their hook ups.  Pleasure is also a good thing.  Others enjoy complaining about how the site isn't just the way they want it to be.  Some think this site is to only find a BDSM partner and those with partners should be banned.  Others feel that ProDommes have no place.  I personally come here to read the message boards and expect...well, really just hope to find meaningful posts about BDSM issues.  Now, just because i find your post less than meaningful does not mean this site is not serving its originally purpose.

It seems that the ideals of truth, trust and honesty are being forgotten here though, yes some people enjoy casual encounters just for kinky sex. If thats their thing good luck to them. It's the dishonesty part that annoys me, some users hide their true intentions, unfortunately suck the gullible or overly trusting into something that is not what they claim it to be. This causes hurt, distress and distrust and there are vulnerable people using this site. If all you want is pornographic pictures, cyber sex, online control, be HONEST about what you want and you will I believe gain much more by it.
