Status: offline 		Ok.. I am back from the dead..

I survived.

I got moved. I am living with a friend and mutualy helping each other out with bills and kids... ect.

In this all I lost my Townhouse, my vehicle, and in the end my job even. ( yep.. the bastages let me go)

So the question.. or moral of the story is...

When me have friends, realitives.. and people in our life telling us that someone we are seeing is a negative influance and holding us back.. why do we ignore them? Why do we brush it off?

Mine I think was the "White Knight" must save BS... But why do you think most of us do not listen?

Status: offline 		It's great to see you back posting, Gwyn. You've had a rough trot lately, but you know there's only one way to go now - UP.  

I think we tend not to listen for a number of reasons hon, when a person we care about but we deep-down know is bad for us is being criticised we take the protective stance to defend them. There's also the element that we hope that they'll change if we give them enough time/understanding.  That criticism is also for us for having made such a bad choice in partner... no one likes hearing that they are making bad decisions especially where the heart strings are concerned.  It's easy to lose perspective when emotionally involved.

What is most important here though is not that you didn't listen... you've learned, but will you repeat the cycle, Gwyn? Only you can decide the way forward... just don't go in circles hon.

*gets done snuffling* Woof.. that basicaly said it all.

I have been eternally hopeful. Even in this last move when no help was given by her.. I hoped. I asked time and again.
In vain. When people are awful to me, or others.. I hope.. I hope they will have thier hearts and eyes opened.
It is in my nature. I am not a pesimist. Not one bit. I simply can not be a creature like that.
It is not in me.
I recently realized that yes.. the very diffinition of "Insanity" is to do something over and over and expect a different result.
  Funny eh?
I spent 7 years of Maybe the other person will finaly step up to the plate. Maybe the other person will pull thier weight. Maybe the other person will finaly stop being so angry.
I now see other people in thier lives living the years.. or lifetimes of maybe's. I want to shake them.. to wake them up.. to make the realize there is no maybe's.... there is only insanity on that path.
I never want to have another maybe. Never another wasted moment. Never another time where I am not an important person or even concideration in the realtionship.
Never another maybe.
We all deserve better.
