Hey, thanks. I've got the hat and whip (floggers, too) but, alas, no gun. I do hate nazis, though, and am often heard to exclaim, "That belongs in a museum!!".

Its not your profile that points in that direction as much as your posts.

I suggest that it is neither my profile (as you initially suggested) nor my posts, but your insistence on an interpretation that does not fall in line with reality.

Or maybe you are stubborn and cynical and fail to see what you project to others with your negative posts?l

Hopefully not exclaimed out loud the first time she gets naked for you.

Oh and luscious?  I don't think he's ever going to see how he appears to others.  Seriously.

Judging from the responses to this thread, I'd say my audience is a rather diverse group who obviously read different things into what I've said. Your suggestion that there is a monolithic reaction is unfounded.

Anyone can read my messages, anyone can respond. I am who I am, and I am not concerned with changing that to meet some elusive concept of popularity.

I think the quality of the contributions by Stella and Dark can be compared to the quality of the contributions of several others I can think of and fairly be judged to be illuminating and thought-provoking.

Obviously for some the topic strikes a nerve.

I can take responsibility for many things, but the level of maturity of those who freely choose to read and respond to what I write is another matter.

If you are going to enjoy free speech, there are going to come times when the speech you hear is not to your liking.

And last I checked, collarme was a member of the Free Speech Coalition (sez the man whose speech awaits approval )

What are the subtle differences between this topic and every other topic you have posted? Some people choose to discuss the weather but with you it is always cynics and selfish people.

Personally I try not to let those types of people drag me down as you obviously have. We all come across people that are not exactly as pure as snow but the difference between you and most others is most others don't bleat on about it.

What revelations have come from this thread? Who have you convinced, who has convinced you of something? Let go of the hurt and the pain and move on because it's only your life you are wasting by dwelling on it, nobody else will give it a second thought.

How about the next topic is different from all the others thus far?

It is all part of the variety of life; pleasure without pain is just sensation they say. Actually I think I heard that on a Muller fruit corner yoghurt advert.

As translucent as the running spring. As innocent as the flying dove. As chaste as the sleeping nun (*cough*). As unadulterated as a bottle of Evian. As virginal, undefiled, unblemished, untainted and sinless as Bob.

Can't think of any more synonyms  (fuck, this took me a while).

Is a flying Dove more innocent than the standard walking dove?

This conversation is starting to remind me of the 'African or European swallow?' argument in 'The Holy Grail'  .
