These Lads would be better employed kicking Johny Foreigners arse.

They would do it too if you took away their welfare check.

adding: I know PSub would agree if only his Mistress would let him. lol

Typical scouse friendliness at its finest NG. Im wondering if they sang it on the long train home ride last week, knowing we had made the final.

I must say, as much as its going to hurt, well played Ronaldo. 40 goals in a season is a tremendous achievment these days.

Won't Ronaldo be known as 'Mr Second-thought' from now on?

PS: Seeks, don't forget to take these , okay  ?

Different Ronaldo Kittin, the one you mention plays for AC Milan. The other for Man Utd.

One day, once again an English (& British) team might play in the European cup final but we'll probably have to wait a long time. That team won't be Man Utd or Chelsea

Mna Utd (tried googling the line up)

Liverpool 1977  Ray Clemence, Phil Neal, Joey Jones, Tommy Smith, Ray Kennedy, Emlyn Hughes c, Kevin Keegan, Jimmy Case, Steve Heighway, Ian Callaghan, Terry McDermott

Liverpool 1978 Clemence, Neal, Smith, Thompson, Kennedy, Hughes, Dalglish, Case, Heighway (Souness), McDermott (Johnson), Callaghan

Liverpool 1981

Aston Villa 1982

Liverpool 1984

Can't really count Man Utd in 1999 or Liverpool in 2005

Meatclever, thats ironic from a man who wants closer ties with Europe. Foolball has gone international and both clubs will field at least 4 or 5 home grown players.

They are

Man Utd

Wes Brown,
Rio Ferdinand,
Paul Scholes
Michael Carrick,
Owen Hargreaves (Canadian or plastic Englishman)
Ryan Giggs, 61 (Welsh)

Chelsea

Lampard
Joe Cole
Ashley Cole
J Terry
(I can't think of any more English Chelsea players)

Then Liverpool have Gerrard and Carragher and Arsenal have Walcott.

Only English Clubs plus Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter and AC Milan have gone fully international.(I'm trying to think of the other clubs that make up the European big 14) Most Italian, German, French, Dutch clubs etc etc  have their own nationals playing mostly. No league has as many foreigners in it as England. It is a matter of money which is why only rarely will clubs from small countries will now challenge in the European Cup. The days are gone when a Dutchman will win a European Cup with Ajax, PSV or Feyenoord, now they have to play for a big club to do that. It's a pity because there is no incentive to care whether an English club wins or not if its not your club because most players are foreign anyway. Many football fans in Europe feel the same as far as I can tell but money rules the game at the moment and fans are not to be considered. I think its a shame though that clubs from small countries can no longer build world beating teams even if they produce enough players. The English league is now as boring as the Scotish league and most European leagues because competitions are effectively bought rather than won. For me, I find the German league the most exciting (though not as good as the English league) because it is like the English league used to be, every club has a chance at the beginning of the season and there are no walk over games. Buthey, that's just me.

Sean Wright Phillips and Wayne Bridge and Steve Sidwell for Chelsea, plus a few youngsters who have had the odd game. Man Utd also have O`Shea Rooney and Neville. Im pretty sure Ben Foster is on thier books as well, which is a shame as he is a half decent keeper and doesnt play much. ...... Italy and Spain have had foreign players for ages. France have many Algerians and Africans in there league. The good thing is the ridiculous cost of overseas talent, is forcing the English clubs to improve the youth set ups.

Foster is indeed on Man Utd's books, in fact he is part of the first team. I too find it strange he doesn't play more often, dunno why???
