Cliques are so fun! My teenage son is currently all pissy because his circle of friends got dubbed "The Thug Squad" at school by a teacher when my boy was not there. Now, even though my son is closer friends with most of the 'ring leaders' of this bunch than some of the kids who were standing there - Those 'satellite' kids are 'Thug Squad' but my son is not. shrug You have to realize that my son goes to a special school for performing & visual artists. It's like the 'Fame' School! These kids are about as "Thugie" as the Scooby Doo kids! As a mom, I get the joy of explaining to my son that cliques are only fun if someone wants IN and the clique keeps them OUT. Don't be a whiner. Be happy these kids are your FRIENDS and don't worry about having a "Thug Squad" sticker on your locker. It never meant anything anyway. It's just a joke. Now... do I have to turn all Mommy Domme on you? Shall I 'splains that just because people post a lot on a forum doesn't mean that they have anything valid to say? People who have been here longer see others come and go. They are more comfortable with the people they have interacted with over a longer period of time. That's it. It's not a clique. If you wanna clique... go make your own. It's not that difficult. You find other like minded people who don't seem to be getting a lot of attention from the people you view as cliques and you send them messages. Before long, you have your own little circle. Yippy!

As far as I can tell, there are people here that like me (and that I like as well). There are people here I don't like as well and I'm sure there are some that don't think the sun shines out of my ass, either. I post my drivel, hopefully I make people smile and laugh, and sometimes think. I don't see cliques. I see people that have similar viewpoints chiming in with their similar thoughts. I see people with opposite viewpoints chiming in with theirs. I just woke up.. I hope that made sense.
