I have found most people I have interacted with to be friendly and helpful and I try to be the same way. Now, when I first joined CM I would find myself frustrated by some of the mean-spirited posts (which were often directed at newcomers and were quite often followed with "get a thicker skin"). There are people who do not get along well, and there are people who are perhaps more difficult to understand but I haven't felt excluded by anyone.
