Sometimes it feels like a clique and other times I wonder if it is just a domino effect with one person following the lead of the first snarky post. It is probably a combination of both.

I don't. It sucks when someone has good intentions and meanings and gets ripped apart over a small miscommunication. I tend to not participate in those threads.

But majority of the time, it's when somebody is talking out of their ass.

In any context of life, when people present themselves as being something more than what they are, they are going to get to really get it hard from people who really are what people claim to be.

Try sitting down with a few guys who have MBAs and work at brokerage companies and prattle on, giving expert advice about stock investments and see what happens.

Walk into a kitchen of professional cooks and prattle on pompously about cooking when you have no idea what your talking about.

While in some cases, things can be a bit extreme and unnessary (such as 8 pages of pounding a way at a guy who made a one line post about submissive's standing on their toes), more than not I see what goes on here to be in line with what goes on in real time when somebody can't back up the talk with the walk.

there was someone here last year who brought out the snark in me in the worst way
and i learned a big fat lesson from it (im sure some of you remember her)

some people really do need to get a smack up around here, but some people really
do believe the things they say- again i add- this is NOT about the guy in the other thread!
why not take an extra minute before thinking up an oh so clever rip to see if there might be a grain
of anything usefull. there will be pages and pages later to rip shred and tear right?

First of all, said poster was whining because we didn't all fall over his story--he needs to get some bollocks, ask for an opinion, have the balls to deal with what you hear--as for the rest of it--I am so tired of people whining here that they don't get told what they want to hear---
 
put it out there, deal with what one hears--if someone depends on self esteem coming from here--they need a dose of reality--we speak our minds, why? because we can't do it out there.
 
This isn't a tupperware party, its alternative lifestyle--edgy shit out of the norm, out of the maistream----social graces are for match.com

Idk...(luv ya Domah btw) but, I'm just here to have fun.
Sometimes I even learn something, but, really I'm just here to enjoy the people, and (sometimes) to bait the idiots.
Since being spanked a couple of times by Mod XI (thank you, Maam), I have learned to stop a minute and think before I post.
But then usually I just think "what the hey" and say it anyway.

MR.. sorry, I should have elaborated... I don't necessarily feel bad for being snarky or for participating in derailments  (- you didn't see this statement, XI!! - )but rather for not taking the opportunity to use the idiocy to get or participate in a USEFUL or informative dialogue, such as MoGa and Domah were talking about.
