Gas prices in my area are averaging about $3.69 or so.
I am fairly certain it will be $4.00 by Memorial Day.

I just read that mopeds average over 90 miles per gallon of gas, I think the sales and
prices of mopeds will go up.
I only work 15 minutes from work and I don't have to get on any major highways, so a moped would be doable when things get worse.

I have a car that gets roughly 30 mpg, and put roughly 12k on it per year.

That's 400 gallons of gas per year, at $1,400 in spending if gas is $3.50.

Even if gas goes up to $5 a gallon, that's only an extra $600 per year.  This is not a big issue compared to how it's going to take a bit out of shipping, air travel, and trucking.
