ORIGINAL: LilMissHaven And I got to tell you neither Hillary nor Obama will be getting my vote. Same for me but not for the same reason you stated. quote:
I vote independant...I pick the candidate that best suits MY needs. The candidate that gets my vote is the one that i feel will best serve my COUNTRY's needs, not my own. i don't look to the government to take care of my needs. i can do that myself. i need a government that will do the job that it is charged with and not impede my ability to meet my own needs. i need a government that will keep this country safe and sound and stay out of my bedroom, my sex life, and the other areas of my private life that have no impact on anyone else, including what i might decide to inhale at home. To every eligible voter reading this, please, learn more about ALL of the presidential candidates in this year's election, not just the 3 that get crammed down our throats by their big campaign budgets and the media. i recommend http://2008electionprocon.org/?gclid=CK3VmO2okpMCFQw_gQodsWw7Tg On 2008 Election ProCon .org you can: "Learn about the 2008 U.S. Presidential candidates and their views on today's important issues. Please make your voice be heard by putting your ballot in the box. And, don't just vote for the least bad candidate. Choose one that actually reflects your beliefs about what is best for this country. It does matter. We will all have to live with the 'winner' for the next 4-8 years. Know before you Go to cast your vote. And, may the best person win. joy Owned servant of Master David O boy here we go again First let me explain, I'm deaf so I "think in sign language" and then have to translate the signs into letters, then to words and sometimes words get mixed up or lost in translation before finding their way to a co-herent sentence. Can we try substituting "needs" with "beliefs" I think that is where I was trying to go or at least it sounds better. We all have different beliefs on where our country should be heading, etc. I try to pick the candidate closest to my own personal beliefs.
