Propoganda right. That's why Wright can be quoted for several years for spewing this bullshit. And the news people are just making this up though right? Company you keep and all.

Check again your vote and mine and almost everybody else's don't count. Deligates don't have to nomiate based on their district's vote. And while I respect someone's right to disagree...I don't don't have to respect or like their stance. The wonder and JOY of being American.

You know what? I think I know my dad. I'm 29 years old, he's been alive the whole time. It's safe to say "we've met."

Wanna know what else? I don't agree with .001% of what comes out of his mouth. I think he's a complete a-- and haven't spoken to him with more than a 10-minute, monosyllabic phone call in the last 5 years.

However, by your logic, if I were to run for president, I automatically agree with and support everything that comes out of his mouth? Hmmm and here I thought what you thought Obama was saying about the "people" was wrong. Perhaps you endeavor to continue proving him right.

That works. :-)

Smith what part of he's just NOW saying he had no idea and wants nothing to do with the man. He's blowing smoke up the public's ass and expecting us to take it. You seem to have taken it pretty easily at that. Obama is a guy who presents himself as sincere and honest and incredibly thoughtful. It's what we'd like in a president. So where was all that while he continued to be part of Wright's congregation? Or even asked the man to wed he and his wife? This isn't someone he just ran into on the street. This is someone he kept counsel with and has openly said so in the past. This is not just "any company" Obama kept. It's Obama's "intimate company."

I haven't spoken a word to my father in 5 years. The longest email I've ever gotten was "still alive?" No one in their right mind would say he's "intimate company" with me. I have friends I speek to rarely and mostly for a very short period of time and yet they have my confidance...they know firmly where I stand on almost any issue. they are not just "any company." It's not the amount of time we spend with someone but the quality of time. I'd say private meeting and consultation in family matters is pretty intimate for someone you don't know.

Smith, I have a better chance at hitting the Powerball Lottery than Obama does of being elected president.

Then we're in agreement....McCain in '08.

At least he's acknowledging the controversy and apologizing for it. Hillary continues to lie to our face repeatedly and calls her other blatant lies "a mis-remembering" or "mis-speaking."

Obama has acknowledged he doesn't have a perfect past. Do you have one? I don't. If I ran for president tomorrow, the dirt diggers would never sleep digging up all my dirt (this website for one). What skeletons do you have?

Here's what I do know, though. Obama never cheated on his wife while serving as president. Obama, to our knowledge never had his wife cheating on him directly under his nose, and then stayed married to her. Obama voted against the iraq war....a 'mistake' clinton still refuses to even address. Obama hasn't threatened war with iran, hillary has.

First let me explain, I'm deaf so I "think in sign language" and then have to translate the signs into letters, then to words and sometimes words get mixed up or lost in translation before finding their way to a co-herent sentence.

Can we try substituting "needs" with "beliefs" I think that is where I was trying to go or at least it sounds better.  We all have different beliefs on where our country should be heading, etc.  I try to pick the candidate closest to my own personal beliefs.

Please accept my apology.  i'm sorry my words came out sounding harsh towards you.  i didn't mean to sound so critical of you, only of the sentiment, (that i hear a lot of people express), that they are voting for the candidate that will do the most for them (or their cause) or, the candidate that is a woman or, the candidate that is a Republican, etc.

i just wanted to say that i believe in voting for a candidate based on who i believe can do the best job of running the country, regardless of which political party they belong to or what their race or gender happens to be or what promises they make (especially since we all know that promises are often broken or forgotten once the election is over.)

What's more American than cheating on your wife? Or smoking pot? Or even admitting to being a draft dodger? At least Clinton (Billy) didn't use his father's clout to skate by and still call himself an "honorable" part of the military personel.

Obama right...so he can lie about his motivations and direction and history and it's cool. Anybody else and they need ot be crucified. Let's not mention that Obama is the one who's bringing up (verbally) the race issue. A nationa that's divided to begin with and he wants to throw out race as an issue. Anybody who doesn't vote for him is racist. Damn...seems a lot like the bullshit Detroit is going through with our Mayor the Ganagsta. It's bullshit.

I'm still voting for Dean. I don't care how crazy he  is. At least I can understand his brand of crazy.

Don't worry I didn't take your post to be harsh...its just sometimes trying to communicate my thoughts just isn't worth the trouble.

And thats why I vote Independant...once again I believe we are saying the same thing differently and the simularities are getting lost in translation.  We all have our own personal beliefs on who we think will do our country the most good or at least that is how I base my choice...just cause someone has tits like me doesn't mean she's mean she'll get my vote and there are many here on campus that are voting for Hillary for that very reason I find it frightening.

And what better reason to vote for someone?

BoiJen -> RE: I get to go vote for Hillary in 2 hours! (5/6/2008 11:42:12 AM)

BTW Obama hasn't apologized. He's just denied knowledge of it...repeatedly. Which means....you get three guesses....

He's a big fat liar like everybody else.

Arrrchibald -> RE: I get to go vote for Hillary in 2 hours! (5/6/2008 11:44:14 AM)

Am I the only one here that isn't 100% sure who's going to win this race?

The election is 6 months away.  Anything can happen.

Remember all those people before Super Tuesday who *knew* Romney would be the next president?

At least I'm not touting out bullshit reasons that are supposed to sound good. Like I said...I don't have to like or respect anyone else's stance...it works the other way too...you don't have to like or respect my stance...or in fact my reasoning for my stance.

You may choose to be unbelievably rude and to call another's opinion 'bullshit', but it doesn't made for conducive dialogue; it's juvenile; and it certainly doesn't make you look strong. Perhaps that's the effect you were looking for?

BoiJen -> RE: I get to go vote for Hillary in 2 hours! (5/6/2008 11:54:36 AM)

Is this where I can call someone else's opinion of me bullshit too?
