A general point: I think I have some insight into the lack of correlation between higher education and intelligence. I'm educated beyond any reasonable standard of excellance, but, when you get right down to it, I'm dumb as a box of rocks. The reason I have so much education is because sitting in class is easy for me and, more importantly, I just don't get things. And I have to think about them for a long time before I do. I'm just painfully slow to pick up on what everyone takes for granted but I do have a lot of patience and will actually think things through until I do get it. I know that this doesn't hold for everyone with alot of formal education, but, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one it holds for. To respond to the op: People dominate other people. Degrees don't dominate. Intelligence doesn't dominate. Worldliness doesn't dominate. People do. I think the more significant issue is how someone uses whatever talents they were born with. So, it would all depend on the interaction in question. I might as well add that, iq point for iq point, dumb people achieve more than smart people. Someone actually did a study. It made me feel good. :)
