ORIGINAL: MzMia Maybe money can't buy happiness, but I rather be unhappy WITH money, than unhappy without money. For me personally, money does not buy happiness, it buys contentment. It is a great feeling being able to pay your bills, have money in your pocket, be able to buy more than just the necessities of life and have money in the bank. It is a good feeling to know, that you will be okay whether you lose your job or not, and you will probably be okay financially no matter WHAT tomorrow brings. Does being poor in and of itself bring happiness? Are most poor people very happy? Let's take a poll of those that are doing well financially and those that are not doing well financially , and see what group is the happiest. I would be happy in either San Francisco or Tennesse, since I would have the money, I would have homes in both places, cause that's how I roll. Mia, I wouldn't be too happy in San Fran, too high prices. Even if I were very rich I wouldn't live there. The waether sucks too, 60's in July. Plus I'd be getting in fights all the time, I hate political correctness. I'd be more of a "Malibu" guy, big house and seperate studio to make my own B&D fuck movies in, cars, trucks, beautiful vacuous women around. And oddly enough I'd have a big house and a boat here in Myrtle Beach too. Better weather than N.Calif, friendlier people, warmer water. I think having money makes things more "convenient" for people and they may confuse that convenience for happiness. And yes, it's a good feeling having your bills paid, own your own condo and car and plenty of money in the bank and a good credit rating, THEN when you don't need it they want to give you credit cards and loans! WTF were they 30 years ago when I was poor and in the military?
