Amazing, the humanitarian color blindness of the people on CM! Had he stood up and made speeches, and never referred to himself as a person of mixed race (he never denies his mother's heritage) he would've looked like an insane person. i'm all right with people saying he needs more experience, i feel the same. i'm ok with people saying he's too far left, or they think he's full of shit. The issue here is that many people WON'T vote for him solely based on his race. That is sad. But what is sadder is that people feign surprise, and what is saddest is that some people commiserate, but pretend not to. West Virginia, California, anywhere...there will be people who proudly proclaim their "americanness" that will still judge people because of skin color, That is hypocrisy at it's highest level. Iron, Obama *is* too far left, Ted Wetbrain Kennedy "endorsed" him! McCain will be on him like white on rice for that! An endorsement from Ted Kennedy, that's *the kiss of death!* As I've said before, the Democrats pick the candidate who's furthest to the left and then act surprised when they lose. Plus, Senators have an abysmal record when it comes to winning the W.H. This is the only way a Senator can win, if everyone running is also a Senator. Governors have the best record when it comes to winning the W.H. Also, Obama said he'd, "talk to our enemies." I wonder what al qeada or Mexican drug cartels would have to say to him?
