first off I think the collarme website and message board are GREAT, but one issue i have is, the profile section just dosent seem to work. Now i dont like to toot my own horn, but I think im a decent looking guy who has plenty of interests to offer any female whos into bondage and fetishes, yet i havent been contacted by any females, and the few contacts ive tried to make fell on deaf ears. Why is this? Are there females on this site looking for guys to talk to? are most of the women just trying to "play the field"? I definatly dont understand this. Theres a decent list of females in my state, yet none have contacted me, nor have any replied to mails I sent. I dont even care if its just chatting, it would be nice to talk to someone from my area, but so far, thats a pipe dream. Does anyone else experience this? is collarme.com REALLY a good site to talk to females into bondage/fetishes? Id be interested to hear from both males and females on this one.

Well, one thing I look for in a profile is a personality. You don't have one-at least not as far as I can see. Your profile goes on and on about fetishes, but who are YOU? Do you have interests? Do you go to college? What do you enjoy in life? We women here may be into fetishes, but I would like to think that there's more to a woman than her sexuality.

You may want to check out how many more decent looking guys who have plenty to offer are registered to this site.

Hello Young Sexy One,
I think what you're feeling is mostly the fact women ignore messages that are not from friends. It's because we get 10-20 e-mails a day from wankers who don't even read our profiles first. We get a little burnt out on new contacts. You claiming to be real and sincere is hard to project in this electronic way of communication due to people who say one thing, but really use it as a fishing line and not what they stand for in their lives for real.
I'd say it's a numbers game. Kepp the faith and keep writing to those ladies who attract you to them. One day you'll forget it was hard to get started here.
I'd also say for ladies to get to know you better you should voice your opinions here in the message areas as it's an indirect way to get your thoughts and calling card out there.
I know for me you could be someone I'd consider a friend if you were in my area, but due to the fact I have kids older than you wouldn't be able to consider dating or playing with you either.
Kepp up the good work and it will pay off in the end.

this slave would suggest taking the word "kid" out of your profile as a self-descriptor. also accepting the reality of supply and demand as Emerald suggested....the first time this slave posted an ad on one BDSM personals site she had 50 replies within a week. pretty sure just being female had a LOT to do with it.

well, i apprichiate all the ideas and help from everyone so far. I will make some modifications to the profile. Most profiles I real, people hardly write anything! I definatly will write more about myself and make a few minor changes today. as for my age, i kno, i cant help it though! but as i said, theres a good number of females my age in my area, but none even wanna just say hi back.

Well here goes. Pic isn't bad. Age ..for me...is a turn off. You also haven't EXACTLY been silent about your desires. That being said while there may be lots of Dommes in your area, you are working from a shrinking pool when you add everything up. If I recall on a thread about 2-3 weeks ago you were pointed towards local groups that might make it easier to meet people without some of those hangups. Wondering if you'd looked into it. Just my .02

well, i cant help my age! i wish i was older, hell, i feel way older, but im 18 and theres nothing i can do about it. I hope the other changes might help my profile improve. I hope some younger guys or females can reply to this and give there insight

Go to munches and real life events, online is a huge waist of time trying to find that golden goose in the gaggle, and you won't get any real life experince. however it's nice to make friends in places you never would of before. Forinstance I was able to talk to a nice friend in belguim, Iraq and in egypt, and with out that being availible due to online I never would have.

This site has some listings of groups in connet, check it out find one 18+ friendly and go

Age is also a problem because most places are 21 and over only, and the few that were 18+ are changing to 21 now. I honestly wouldn't want someone who was 18, just because the legal thing of every one being 21 and over would kill any potential places I could take my mate. plus he'd be 5 years almos 6 years younger than I am, and I don't mind people being older than me but younger is just not my interest.

Every one else is right you didn't put anything of substance to interest the ladies. I pass up profiles everyday that are all about kink and nothing else.
When I want to know about their kinks I will ask. I am more interested in their personality, or their job to know if their responcible, ect ect

Anything that's against the law for an 18 yo is also against the law for a 40 yo when it comes to kinky play. I don't know any American states that have sex laws for 18 yo that don't also apply to 40 yo and I really doubt other countries do.

Many clubs do 21 and over because they either want to be extra careful or because alcohol is also involved.

I've been on the boards here for about 6 months and I can tell you I've seen a number of threads exactly like yours. The best advice I can give (that hasn't already been brought forth) is to relax and enjoy the people and the conversations here. Don't get intense or 'wrapped around the axle' because the ladies don't reply to you. Be youirself, use this venue to increase your education and understanding of what the ladies really want and be ready when you do find a Sub, whether here or out in the local area.

Just a hint. Take care in your spelling, punctuation and grammar. I know it may not seem important but this is a text medium and people take significant clues from such things.

Oh, one other thing, do you refer to them as "females" in your personal email? That word is a hot button for many women. It's not as incendary as "girls" but it can trigger an "I'll pass on this one."

the best thing is just to make friends and net work you need to go to some local munches ecause even if someone does reply to you how do you know they arn't psycho and won't tie you up in the basement and beat you to death
