as a sister to the Bad movies you love thread, I wanted to start this one. Movies that are supposed to be good but you absolutly hated Spiderman, I hated the first one so bad I refuse to watch the others. Was the new star wars movies supposed to be good? I have heard both.. and hated them Narnia Titanic any James Bond

The English Patient … we go to movies in a group and take turns picking. The person who picked that one apologized and said they owed us all one. I looked at my watch wondering when it would ever end so many times that I finally started counting … I got to 17.

The Lord of the Rings all three. i didn't have the attention span for the books. and i don't have the ability to sit still in a theater that long,,, bad for me, Master could. Queen of the Damned i was able to read this book,,, and enjoyed the book.

Napoleon Dynamite and Anchorman. Hands down the suck, for me. My friends think im crazy.

your post of anchorman made me realize that I did not include "comadies" ANYTHING Ben Stiller. Bruce Almighty almost anything with Ben Aflack, notable exceptions, anything with Jay and Silent Bob

Anthing with Adam Sandler. I hated the Godfather films. So many in the BDSM community liked "Exit to Eden" Obviously, they didn't read the book. The book is great... the movie stank on ice. I have hated, and always will hate "slasher" and "torture porn" movies. The only exception I can think of was the original "Halloween." Don't get me wrong: I love classic horror. Supernatural creatures that must be defeated. Or even giant cockroaches eating a city... but putting some stuntman in a hocky mask and giving him a knife just isn't interesting to me. I don't care how ingenous the contraptions in "Saw" or "Hostel" are... a pseudo snuff film is still a snuff film.

I hated Forrest Gump. Absolutely with a passion hated that movie. A whole movie about some retard living out a fantasy in his head. WTF??? Oh and another one that was supposed to be so special back in it's day, and I thought was just stupid, was Sleepless in Seattle. What a ridiculous premise. That's all I can think of. Most of the movies I hated, everyone else did too.

This is in response to TNstepsout's comment about hating the film Forest Gump. She says that the whole movie was about a " retard living out a fantasy in his head'. First of all, it is a shameful thing to refer to people who are mentally challenged in such derogatory terms. In view of the unenlightened state of your comment ( you really see things at less than the first degree - even my at the time ten year old got that it was a powerful and poignant critique of recent American history and society) I can only assume that you are not particularly intelligent yourself. But unlike the character tha Tom Hanks portrayed , neither do you posess the kindness , tolerance, moral uprightness and joy that he did. And as for for your last statement " Most of the movies I hated, everyone else did too' - one, who is everyone, and did you make a survey? and also does this not belie the incredible success this film had around the world? Why do you not try to see the film a few more times. You might just get it.
