i remember when........and, miss terribly, all of the following: *Music was played on Vinyl records, albums and 45s. *A "record store" sold records. *The Army/Navy Surplus store was the place to buy the best bell bottoms, zipper or button fly. *i looked good wearing a new pair of Navy bell bottoms with a 'peasant top' and a pair of clogs. *There were "Underground" FM radio stations, playing plenty of Jethro Tull, Led Zeppelin, Joe Cocker, Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Quicksilver Messenger Service, The Grateful Dead, Santana, Jimi Hendrix, The Band, Country Joe and the Fish, The Beatles' White Album, Bob Dylan, Chicago Transit Authority, Leon Russell, Joan Baez.......more *A Coca-Cola from the vending machine, came in a glass bottle. *A 'Gas War', meant that a gas station on one corner of an intersection would lower it's price by a penny and the gas stations on the other 3 corners would follow suit. *i enjoyed the sound and feel of typing on a typewriter. joy Owned servant of Master David
