Remember when Motorola made blonde cabinet tvs? Remember 'The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh' serial on the Disney Special? Remember 'Dark Shadows'? Remember the smell of waking up to coffee and bacon and eggs on a wood cookstove with birch wood in it? Remember standing in gramas pantry with the fresh pies and whatnot for time out of mind and smelling and almost eating that smell? Remember when a nickle for candy at the corner grocery store was a buying spree? And a life altering decision? Remember cruising all night, dairyland to the rootbeer stand for two bucks gas (including a quart of oil, usually)?

Remeber when you would go to a family picnic and sit in awe as older family members would talk about the good old times and you would feel so young and new to the world and like you could do anything now... (I kind of feel like that...)
