ORIGINAL: LadyEllen To err Cjan, is human To forgive is divine So of course I forgive your error! E Well, if you're gonna be THAT way about it, LadyE,actually, I did not make an error, I simply took you to be speaking about a slightly different matter. So there. =.:-p And, celticlord, if I may say so, Buddhism is not a theory. The Buddha simply invited people "to come and look" at their OWN experience and to decide for themselves what ir real and what is not. Your exposition of Buddhist "theory" is , nevertheless an incorrect, but understandable, ermmm, misunderstaning. It is one thing to read books about Buddhism and form opinions, ideas and theories about it. It is another thing , entirely, to sit, meditate and investigate phenomena as they arise and pass away and to, finally, after many years of practice, draw your own conclusions.
