As for the genetic sequencing, it will be an incredibly difficult task to puzzle out which piece does what. . . not that we are going to hear anything about how, when, or where they do it.

Actually, this is not quite accurate.  Buddhist theory is that the glass, the whisky, and I have no existence seperate from each other.

Be one with the whisky.

Mind you, it depends which form and school of Buddhism we're talking - yours sounds quite Zen in nature? (and no less valuable for that). Mine is drawn from Tibetan teachings in "Joyful Path Of Good Fortune"  by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, and can be taken to reach the conclusion of your post - which is a conclusion I reached in applying all this to my musings on the nature of the universe and thus to the non existence of time.

Still, whisky sounds like a better idea right now.

And, celticlord, if I may say so, Buddhism is not a theory. The Buddha simply invited people "to come and look" at their OWN experience and to decide for themselves what ir real and what is not.

Your  exposition of Buddhist "theory" is , nevertheless an incorrect, but understandable, ermmm, misunderstaning. It is one thing to read books about Buddhism and form opinions, ideas and theories about it. It is another thing , entirely, to sit, meditate and investigate phenomena as they arise and pass away and to, finally, after many years of practice, draw your own conclusions.

Darn it!!!  It was too early for whisket when I posted earlier.  Is there any left ... or not left .. that I can drink  .... or not drink?
