I had known julie for less than 30 days when we got married. I didn’t need to know her for longer. Eventually she couldn’t have kids and we did divorce after 8 years but remain friends and/or lovers to this day. I saw her yesterday.

We married on our second date adding marriage to the collar. My wild lifetime of debauchery and friendship with the girls from my 2 long term (10yrs) relationships did not end when I got married at the age of 38. In fact, the girls liked julie very much. One of them moved to Florida from Michigan and hangs out with julie often.

I'm married... it's my first marriage. Overall it's not a bad thing for us. We have a long history - known each other for over 20 years. We dated (this last time) for 3 years before getting married, so we're together now for almost 15 years and have an 8 year old daughter together. The one glitch in the marriage is mine. I take the 'blame' because I changed the rules in the middle of the game - I want a D/s relationship and he does not. We're close on every other level though, enjoy each other's company and are very good friends. What's my point? I don't know... somone asked if I had ever been married I think, but then again, I'm still not sure I understood the original question :)

I was married and now I am not. I dated him for a year and then we got married. We had Thing 1 and Thing 2, and soon after, the relationship started to fall apart due to us being stupid. It became hell on earth for all of us. After 11 years, we decided to end it, and separated. By the time we got the Final Decree of Divorce, we had "technically" been married 13 years.

I would marry Daddy in a heartbeat, and we have talked about it quite a lot. He is also divorced. We've been together 5 years, and wanted to make sure that we didn't make the same dumb mistakes on our second go round. We'll see what happens in the future.

Married once, child bride (barely age 20 at time of marriage), divorced. I don't think I would marry again. I am open to the possibility, but many things would have to be right (as in nearly perfect) about the person and the relationship to make me consider taking the plunge, I don't see that happening, but you never know.

nope never married. was engaged once, um 13 years ago, but due to the lack of cooperation of gravity that didnt last. most likely saved me a divorce. we had been screwing around with dating for years. just havent really been intersted since then. at nearly 36, somehow i doubt that i would jump on that boat now.

I was, but my ex had a few fatal flaws.
He didnt think hookers were cheating, and he honestly believed that a wedding ring on my finger would show me my "proper place" in the house as the good quiet little wife who didnt question her husband.

Theres a reason hes an ex.

married at 24, we were both crazily in love and crazy stupid, so it was not necessarily the best thing, but that i got Beast (my son) out of it and Beast is perfect

didnt marry for years and years, although proposed to way too often. Why do folks say that women want committment when it seems like the men who dont want to be single?

So, when the time was right, i searched high and low for just the right spouse and there, on the underside of a wet rock, i found my sleazy rat bastard. ok no i fell for a psychopath and am glad to be outtathere. the part that keeps me kicking myself is i followed all the advice . . . dated for a year, lived together, premarital counseling, talked about money and kids, and then
oh look, a SRB in disguise!

so whether i marry or not i dont know. my plans, they change. i hear there is a serial marrier on here so perhaps . . . *eyes faery*
