m'Lord contacted me in the height of my spamdom, when I was a new member and every itdiot had crawled out of the woodwork at the smell of fresh meat. His e-mail stood out because it was well written and personalized, it's not hard to determine who has cut and paste and who has spent time tailoring a thoughtful e-mail.

I'm actually thinking that I want him around the next time a professional pan handleer here in town, they've gotten really agressive lately and aren't taking no for an answer. My standard excuse is that I can't afford it as a single mom-- one guy's comeback was that he's a single dad-- wonder how his child support payments are going.

Red Magic, 1. I understand your point about how we can use spam to our advantage by being that much more unique. I agree. That can work. I just still find spam annoying. 2. "when you tried going after Celeste,"? what are you talking about? I never went after Celeste (although she choose to accuse me of "hissy fit") I responded to her points, but I never said anything about her character. The only one anyone has "gone after" in fact, is me. I did not insult anyone back. ...But it's cool, sometimes that just happens in forums I guess. -Zen

I'n in complete agreement with you Zen. It's a pain in the fucking arse to open email after email and see yet another "hi ma'am" and nothing else, or a long winded, generic missive that is geared towards any female who can read. I've mentioned it in my journal and in my profile, not that it does much good, which only proves the point that many people DON'T read profiles.

Zen, After perving your profile, it does appear YOU are the one recieving the spam from men and transferrring it to your lack of success with this site. Personally, i recieve very little spam and form letters. Most men that write me fall into 2 catagories: those that take time to write a personal note and those that write the typical "one-liner". i will tell you from MY personal experience as a female on this site what jades me more than any spam mail, is when i finally agree to give my yahoo addy out - and their first line is..."anymore pictures of yourself?" (and i already have several on my profile) or i get an invite for cam... And this comes from guys that went out of their way to stand out from the crowd in a good way - and after i have invested precious time, it turns out all they want is fresh wank fodder. Those are the guys doing more damage than your "spammers". Atleast those guys show their colors right up front~
