RS, SHAME on you....NUKE????? That's not cooking.......I'm probably the only living female, not to mention the only person, who DOES NOT have a microwave! Here's the 2 pot way...... 1) brown the beef in the pot. Add whatever spices you like...garlic is good! 2) drain said beef in a colander.....hey, it's NOT a pot! Rinse it in hot water to get rid of the grease. (I actually cook my beef in water, it's not so greasy that way.) Let it set and drain. 3) get your sauce started, adding garlic, italian seasoning, more garlic, onions, parmesean cheese, more garlic, let simmer for 30-45 minutes. Add garlic to taste. Add the beef after the sauce is bubbly. 4) boil water in the second pot for your pasta. I add garlic and italian seasoning to the water, and a little bit of olive oil to keep it from sticking. Drain said pasta in the aforementioned colander. Rinse. Let the sauce simmer as long as you can.....it only gets better. Serve with warm garlic bread.....on foil, baked, then broiled with mozzarella cheese on top. Used: 2 pots, 1 colander and however many plates and silverware you used. Obviously, I was never a vampire in my previous life....I am a firm believer in that you can NEVER have enough garlic!
