Can I ask a question that no one that believes in this doomsday lunacy can answer? IF the world, according to the ancient Mayans, is supposed to end on Dec 21, 2012, then why in the hell did that schedule a feast for a dead king 426 years from this year? Just in case you havent grasped a fact, there are other Mayan calenders that continue past the 21st, basically a new age begins at midnite the 21st.

Because the "end of the world" could have more than one meaning. It does not have to mean doomsday. It could just be the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine.)

Considering the stand on gun control in this country is all or nothing and in forum my way or the highway, if they pass a law that eliminates my right to own guns or restricts the kind i can legally own or keep in my home, I am bugging out for the hills, me, my guns, my ammo, and my dogs. After that the next time you hear of me will be on CNN when they report on a defiant gun owner shooting it out with the agents sent to confiscate some or all of my guns.

Simple it is the Constitution. And with the same straight face as someone that can defend abortion as a form of birth control, even when it is concerning women who have had more than one.

No worries Jeff [:)] and actually I meant the Americans as a whole with "you" not you personally....cause I just realised it sounded like as if I mean you in particular with my "you"...anyhow...its just interesting for me as that is simply one of many differences between our countries [:)]

Bury your guns. If we did that we would be a colony of England. If we did that England would be a colony of Germany. Why is every other country so concerned with U.S gun onership. The countries with strict gun onership all seem to have crime problems just like us. Lets get rid of our guns and use car bombs or rocket launchers like they do in some countries. Mmmm have a great idea. If you feel that your being bullied wear a suiscide vest and show it the the person bullying you. I bet that will stop him. OK Im rambling on.

Roscoe has begun to take unassisted steps. Seven in a row so far. I am contemplating whether or not I should start knocking him down every time he does take steps. I know what happens when they gain full mobility! Oh sure, I know that it's just a few hesitant steps now, but next is running around naked screaming, "You'll never take me alive! Death to all who would bathe me!"
