A gop party member tried to hijack it once but he realized that knowledge combined with a complete lack of scruples was a bad combination, so he made the obvious choice.  God forbid the right wing should actually realize the way the destroy things, better to do what they do best and blindly plunder on, wrecking all in their path.

Baby brought a knife to a gunfight...tsk tsk..

Obama talks an awful lot about change.  I'd just like to know what he is planning on changing. If he is planning on changing foreign policy then I'm all for it. He is going to have a hell of a time doing that. Thus far, he is the only one that has publicly stated that he is willing to talk to Iran.  However, he also let the media end a 20 year relationship with his pastor.

The smartest thing he could do is to run with Hillary.

I hope he doesn't pick up John Edwards, who in theory has declined the option. That would suck.

Hmmm ... I bet someone on here was complaining about "stolen elections" after the last 2 presidential races but now she advocates Billary stealing the nomination.  America- Land of the Free and home of the hypocrites.

Every time i hear "change" in the Obama presentations, i remember an old fast food commercial (i think it was McDonald's) that claimed you could come in from a meal and get "change back from your dollar."  i always hope that isn't what he means by "change".
As Hillary, i would be concerned with becoming the running mate for the simple reason that if anything, God forbid, were to ever happen to Mr Obama, quite a number of eyes and fingers would point in her direction.  Blame it on whatever bias you might wish, with or without evidence, there would be a huge question mark that she would probably never be able to erase.

Was that post for me? I do not believe that I have ever spoken about that election in this forum. In fact, I'm almost 100% sure that I haven't.  I believe you have me confused with someone else.

I think it was for me Bethnai, but I didn't post that either..methinks he is projecting a bit?
I certainly don't compare Hillary using whatever it takes to get the nomination ( kind of a moot point now isn't it?) to the friggin blatant thievery of an election do you Irish? I mean, google Greg Palast, or database enterprises..

We'll see who brought the gun in November... And for the record, I won't vote for McCain either, he's the third Dem nominee as far as I'm concerned.

How is Obama going to function with Bill around?  Easy.  This is the dream ticket.  McCain does not have a chance in hell now.

Regards, MissSCD

The choice of VP is going to be the most critical decission that any canidate has ever had to make in US history. The running mate will either make or break who is going to become president. Instead of choosing who they would like to have as a running mate, each canidate is going to have to choose who they need to win.

Does Obama need Hillary as a running mate to win this election?

Don't you think that McCain has a really good chance at winning should he take Huckabee or Juliani as a running mate?

Depending on the running mates, we'll be looking at another very close election. I do not see this race being as close as Bush vs Gore. However, I'll go ahead and predict that this election will be won by Electorial Vote while the other canidate will have the popular vote.

I only compare theft to theft.  To try to pull a trick to steal the nomination at this point would be theft.  That very act or the attempt to do so would make a candidate unworthy.  I won't get into the "Bush stole the election" fight with anyone because slamming my forehead on a wall hurts.  But to condone one theft and not the other would be hipocrisy at its finest.  Either both wrong or both applauded.

You are both wrong. Hillary using whatever tactic she has to gain the nomination prior to November hardly equates with Bush Inc. lying and stealing votes and having Kathleen Harris appooint him as president using Jebbie and the Supreme Court. Of course you two can view it that way if you wish,  I know better, as do the thousands of Americans whose votes were stolen, discarded, or ignored.  Twice.

How many votes in the primaries would be stolen by Billary?  Don't they count for something?

Are you seriously putting yourself on record as saying that the only way a black man could ever get the Democratic nomination was by stealing votes from old 'Honest Hillary'?

Do me a freaking favor...find some other label for your divisive bigotry besides 'progressive'... someone might actually believe you and give the rest of us a bad name.

Excuse me? I know your tactic Alumbrado, not working. Can you show me where I said that? No? Yeah no kidding.  My reference to stealing votes if you would pay attention and lose the carefully crafted "righteous indignation" was a reference to 2000 and 2004 which I have referenced many times here. But you knew that didn't you?  Stop labeling yourself as the self professed genius of the CM forum, someone might actually start to believe that besides you. Back at you...
