Why are some clouds big and fluffy and some are long and streaky (sounds like gals i know, but that's another thought)....

I mena it's a nothing kind of thread... Kind of like a Seinfeld episode... you know what i mean?

one of the things that never ceases to amaze me about Florida.. it PISSED DOWN STORMED at my house today, while I was at work (12 miles away)...

Dry as a bone at work.

One of the things that never ceases to amaze me about San Diego... this weather never seems to change - it's like a permanent drought. Blue skies, 70's, but no real weather. I know I shouldn't whine, but I miss the drama of real weather.

Anyone else really enjoy the drama of a high intensity thunder storm? I mean other than the Holly and Pottie thread?

Greedy, it's even freakier to see that happening directly infront of you as happened to me one day when I left my mother's house only to see it raining on the other side of the road.

Come to North County inland. Same blue skies, but you can bask in 95+ temps from July to Sept.

I grew up in Ohio, and I do miss having actual weather. We had a thunderstorm here a week or so ago, and it actually made me homesick for Tornado Alley.

Yeah, yeah, I did that for 5 years. But honestly, inland sucks even more: still no fun weather, but it's 95 instead of 80. I WANT LIGHTNING. Of course, we do have some pretty dramatic fires.

Don't remind me. I spent nearly a week living in a tent at a state park turned "evac center" last year .
Camping is fun, but not on 15 minutes notice.

I spent a day evacuating horses, another evacuating friends and myself, another putting it all back where it belonged. I didn't get much work done that week.

But what I really want to know is: Which way should the toilet paper roll be hung? With the sheets coming off the top or the bottom?

rofl....problem with that is, i cant' run very fast when i'm laughing my ass off.

i've decided before i ever meet you two, i'm going to have to make sure there is bail money and He will come rescue me.  but hey, i'll just give them coppers my best puppy dog eyes, (i keep them in a jar in my sock drawer),  and they'll probably just give us rides home....in straight jackets....with duct tape on our mouths
