I think it determines what type of relationship you want to have with them.  If it's just play, you want someone who is skinny and energetic enough.  If it's a real serious relationship you want someone that already knows who they are, has their life together, and isn't still "growing".  If you want a real serious relationship where your partner compensates for your shortcomings (like feeling like a REAL man, you get someone who's like still growing and you couldn't possibly have a real relationship with just over jail bait). 

When I was in my early 20's, I was still growing.  There was no way I wanted to settle down.  Plus, I was financially secure, and didn't need to pretend liking an older guy, just to reap the financial benefits... LMFAO. 

The guys who were approaching me that were in their late 30's early 40's, were like a joke to me.  Like what?  I don't want a father, I already have one.  I don't need money, my dad gives me some.  And, you're so old, why have you and settle down when I don't want to settle down yet and can hang around people closer to my own age at my own stage in life? 

Just creeped me out, older guys who wanted to hang around the young'ens.  Kinda like a child molestor hanging around the playground.  Really disgusting.  Maybe the child molestors aren't mature and never will mature, and need to have a relationship with a kid.  ... who knows
