I call mine petie because he's very neat (neaty petie) or esclavo (slave) when discussing him I sometimes say My pet petie.

I have been contacted by dom/me's I have not communicated with and they have called me little one, kitty, slut, and pet.  Dom's I have formed some sort of relationship with have called me brat bunny, and kitten.    I like personalized names the best as they tend to be unique between me and my Dom.  I currently don't have a name and rather miss it!

Fox has his list on here, I can speak for Angel.
I call him Angel, obviously.
Also baby girl, little one, princess, brat, spoiled baby, sissy girl, sissy baby and babydoll.

The only really personalized names i have for the boys is the names I gave them. Angels is his girlname, plus when i got him he was heading overseas to spend his summer break helping the less fortunate in the Ukraine. At 20 and 21, I thought that was pretty damn impressive.
Fox's name was from our first few days together, though Pussycat was in contention,  it was too long for an everyday name.

Mine Boy (most of the time)

Dearest

Brat

Slut

Sissy or Bitch

Pet names like "Love", "Babes" "Ry-Ry"

Mine Boy is my favorite though. Combines possession with a reminder of his place. I love saying it.

As in what you put on your feet, or what pulls a cart? Either is just as good ;-)

I was once asked to read and give my feedback on a story in which the domme used boy a lot. For whatever reason, in that story using that name conveyed a redneck flavor to me. But let's not mind me and my Texas-influenced interpretations. Maybe if I had imagined it being said in a British accent or something ;-)

Cheers,

I love the word puppy -- I use it indiscrimately when I feel affection for someone or happy talking to him.  I love the pleasureable relationship that it invokes and underlines.  I've also called individuals poppet, my little footlicker and manthing.

i call my male submissive - pet, sissy, pain slut, and my white bitch whore (he likes the last one the best)

on the flipside, Daddy calls me daughter, black bitch, slut, whore, lil girl, cum piggy, pussy - those words would have a negative effect if anyone else said them besides Daddy.

I like Mine Boy! I might try it out, though I suspect it won't take very well...it seems like the stuff that really sticks has to rise up organically, ime.

For the longest time, I could not stand being called a "boy".  I thought "I'm not a boy, rather, I'm a mature adult".  Ah, but how things change with more life experience.  I've enjoyed being called sweetheart, pet, little boy, brat, slut, whore, fuck hole, slave, monkey, and bitch.  Of the many things I've been called though (some of which I've not listed here), I'd have to say my favourite is "beautiful boy".

Elan.

I'm just curious - if you met an unattached (or attached but not to you) Black submissive male, would you call him boy? Just wondering because, on the one hand, i think boy has some strong positive connotations in the kink world, and, otoh, some strong negitive conotations in the African American culture.

Surely its all in the context the word is used in. The submissive is always able to ask the Domina not to use the term, and to explain his feelings.

Addressing them isn't so hard, but getting a stamp on those wriggly little suckers can be tricky.

i was fortunate enough to "suggest" a name for myself by Lady.  i told Her i enjoyed being Her "captive" and She used that name in my early training.  She now refers to me as Her "cockslave" which i enjoy very much.

Holy crap, I never even thought about that. boy has such a totally different connotation in this lifestyle. I have called black submissive men "boy" before. Oh god, I hope they were not terribly insulted.

I'll definitely think twice before doing that again. Maybe sweetheart can just be universal. I call the boys that too sometimes when I'm in a good mood :)

Quite a number of black males have contacted me asking for extreme racial abuse. Even though it was an accident on your part, it's just as possible that he may have liked it. And if he didn't, you would have known right away. Don't beat yourself up over it. ;)
