I have had long hair almost all of my life… I cut it short during high school and nearly broke my fathers’ heart. Currently my hair hangs just above my waist and all one length. About once a year I go in and have my hair cut and donate it to Locks of Love.

I have long not because I prefer long hair simply because it grows so fast that keeping a short hair style is tedious and requires a trip to the salon once a month.

It not the time at the salon that is the problem its dealing with those hair stylist who think they know how I “should” wear my hair, verses how I can wear it. My hair strands are fine but I have a ton of it so I have a thick main of Auburn tresses, that is natural wavy. I hate asking for a trim and ending up with a different hairstyle than I went in.

Long hair is *always* better.  Let's be clear on this:  Don't cut your hair. Ever. Long hair is always more attractive than short hair. One of the big reasons guys fear getting married is that married women always cut their hair, and by then you're stuck with her. [:D]

I love long flowing shinny  hair , long wavy or curls in the hair yes yes ! then again i also love to do an exchange that would involve shaving a womans head too . Hair grows back after all . And hair bondage is so hot ! ok so i maybe a little torn on both views heheh.

I find it useful and dehumanizing to make part of the enslavement process a full body shave, from toes to scalp.  This is then followed by a barcode tattoo on the scalp with the international slave registry number.  After that point, the hair can be allowed to re-grow, but she'll always know that underneath... she's a naked, shaved and marked piece of fuck meat.

I Love long hair... however, I have given up trying to get it. *grumbles at the curls* I got mine down to nearly midback in a year and a half. 2 and a half years later, and it was Still nearly midback. Well, I'm a girl of extremes, so now mine is well above the ears *grins*

Long hair is so gorgeous though if it can be done nicely, and it allows for a few different games as well *weg*, hmm.. you lot have made me wanna grow my hair out again. Maybe if I keep the straighteners handy...

My hair strands are not too fine (but not too thick), but I also have a thick head of them. I go over 4.5 inch circumference if I tie them up in a ponytail. I'm also naturally wavy. Though I'm not sure what my color is. I have chestnut and blonde (naturally). My profile pic is added with blonde streaks, though that was a year ago, now they only show through the back.

As for cutting it. I get my mom to trim my bangs, and I trim the ends once every 6 months maybe, with her also. I don't trust salons, plus it costs a lot. My style is simple so it's alright (my mom had a hairstylist formation back in the late 70s though).

I want it longer than it is now though, if I'm not sitting on it, it's way too short for me :P

Frenchy thinks its pretty funny when we see a woman out in public with healthy, glossy, ulta-long hair - I say "I wonder if she'd let me play with her hair...and maybe her boobies?"  I have seen all different kinds of hairstyles on men and women that look great on them - and I love how having a good style just makes a person feel confident.  To me, confidence and self-satisfaction are a couple of the most alluring qualities any person can have.  When I met Frenchy he had baby-fine shoulder length hair and since he's so light complected people think he's albino, with long hair, he kind of looked like Edgar Winter.  Now he buzzes it himself, and I think it's a more suitable style for him.  The only thing I ever say about his hair is that he fusses with it like a girl and he'd better just get his ass in the car because he's making us late.

I like my hair just to/below my shoulders. It is now past the middle of my back  because Master prefers it that way.

I feel like a "granola girl" with my long curly hair. It takes around 45 minutes with a blow dryer to get it dry. If I let it air dry: a shower at 7am will mean still damp hair at 1pm. I think it makes me appear less professional. But, it's his choice so I deal with it.

O, Vendeval; i LOVE nice long hair on a Man...makes me 'gooey' almost immediately.  i've been known to write short emails to the few Dom profiles i've ever seen with pictures of a Man with nice long hair (too bad some Men don't understand it's only attractive if it's well cared for..*sighs*).

My main picture on profile would show you -- i let my bangs grow out too.  i've had bangs in the past, but never really liked how they looked on me. 
 
i also have a 'torch singer' fantasy and partially because of it, i'm a fan of an old 'B' movie actress called Veronica Lake.  i want my hair to look like hers, but longer.

My natural hair color has changed a lot over my life.  i was a dirty blonde in college -- even later.  i have a favorite snapshot of me sitting in a field of flowers with my UM on my lap; she must've been about 6 years old at the time.
 
Nowadays i'm an 'assisted' blonde.  i love my stylist and she does a great job -- my hair stays in great condition after she colors it.  i can't afford to see her as often as i'd like, so i can guess my natural color now from my roots.  i now have a big white streak in the front.
 
i'm gonna find the money to see my stylist soon, and i'm excited.  i love my hair just after she's worked on it.   i don't care if i have to eat beanie weenies all month; i'm getting my hair done. 
 
It'll be my birthday pressie to myself.

I had equal lengths before. Was a bit tired of getting ot off my face every 10 seconds (as I prefer my hair loose). I also thought bangs would frame my face better and look cuter. I was right about that.

My mom used to have bangs too, but she let them grow, thought it looked too young for her. I'm all for looking young though :P
