I love my long hair and find it attractive on other women and some men, as well. It's taken a long time to grow my hair out, too - from a short pixie cut that Master Fire would have likely approved of, to past my shoulder blades. I'm hoping to let it continue growing and add some layers to give it texture. Some days, though, the fuss is enough to warrant buzzing it all off. Nothing hurts like detangling my hair!

I know you posted this for dominants or masters to answer but I just thought it funny... I have very long hair, about an inch above my waist, and living in Manhattan, I think that every gay, male, "I'm so fabulous" hairdresser sort of cringes at women with hair this long and just are dying to cut it short and 'mod'. I had to explain to my hairdresser that "He" would beat me (I am half certain he knew I was not kidding) if it were cut it beyond the allowed amount....hehehe somehow even the biggest, scissor-happy queens can understand that deep seated appreciation in certain men for long hair... so he just whined a bit about having to deal with Crystal-fucking-Gail and then proceeded to obey and take full credit for how "hot" it looked... after he realized how much product I would have to buy to maintain it, no doubt!

I'm growing my hair out....not really sure why..maybe to see if I can do it. I think it makes me look older, others tell me it makes me look younger. When my hair was short, I did spend time on it to have it look good, but it wasn't a big deal. Now I just pull it back in a pony tail and go.....it's fine, but thick, so I sweat like a bear when I'm outside......the last time I hacked my hair off was in the summer, I was outside doing yard work and couldn't take that feeling of sweat running down my scalp....went in, showered, 30 minutes later, the hair was short again! I know it seems to be that guys like the longer hair......but living with it sometimes is a real pain!

I love long hair in general because of it's style options,the images it portrays and it's usefulness.i think shoulder blade length is perfect because there is enough to play with or style but not enought to take forever to wash :)

I am 47 years old, and my hair is down to the bottom of my ass, about as long as favesclava. That is the length I like, I am not concerned about what others think. I have had my hair shoulder length or shorter only a few times in my life and definitely didn't like it. It is soft and fine and thick, and no problem to wash or put up. I usually wear it up in a bun. That is what keeps it looking nice, and out of my face for work. Ratty, uncombed hair looks terrible on anyone. To answer another comment: Plenty of people tell me I look 10 years younger than I am. I like my age. I definitely do not want to look like I am in my twenties or thirties.
