I just completed another random search of 10 Dommes.......it was split 50/50 bringing the total to 20 random searches, 12 of which were either self described pros or wanted some sort of tribute compared to 8 that didnt. You dont have to be a math wiz to tell you thats over 50%.

It does help however if you're a statistician when doing a survey or random sample... I am not, however, your sampling is relatively meaningless without some idea on HOW you are sampling.. and whether that is even relative or random...

I don't buy it...

I also don't understand why it even matters...

I agree with you katie978 only by my reckoning it's more like daily moan and groan about pro Dommes or tribute Dommes or whatever. Perhaps these subs should spend less time bitching and more time writing well-worded and thought out messages to Dommes they find interesting.
Learning to use the hide button would be a good way to remove the Dommes that are a thorn in their side from appearing in the list of profiles.

While I would say there is a significant number of pro dommes on the site, I wouldn't venture to say the percentage would be as high as half.

I agree with Madamea. I would be very interested to know what type of search criteria is being used as a 'random' sample. For example, I think the results would be skewed if a search was done for 25 year olds, rather than 40 year olds.

Oh, before I forget, I happen to be 'just' a lifestyle Domme.

I use the HIDE button to make the whiners and sissies and wankers disappear....works GREAT. Of course my HIDDEN list is now longer than the list of men who DO show up...

I have no idea how many pro dommes or women who want tribute there are on the other side. Lots? Maybe. I used to be a pro dominant, and I think I had a profile here then under another name. Because HEY!! I had and have a real life outside my business.

What it comes down to is that you just ignore the people that don't interest you. Simple as that.

No, it's not an accurate statement. Hide a profile when you find one that you don't want to see, eventually you will be rid of the pro or tribute Domme profiles.

The small sample size is another issue. If I knew how many profiles there are on collarme (I'm sure that info is available somewhere), I could easily calculate the sample size you would need to make a statistically significant inference.

Considering from what I've seen from around 3 years of being on this site, and having both online and offline friendships with a considerable number of Dommes I would have to have to say no, it isn't true.

As for the Dommes who are professional, so what? Are you trying to say that just because a professional Domme is professional this excludes her in some way from a long term relationship?

Or is this your failure to see a difference between a professional Domme and prostitution? I for one see a big difference.

I could be mistaken. If the statement 'That most of the female Dommes on here are professionals' meaning that they earning money through a wide variety of occupations such as nurse, secretary, IT support, businesswoman, lawyer, admin assistant, retail manager, civil servant, etc then yes, in this context I'm inclined to agree that perhaps the majority of Dommes are professionals in some way. But why would that exclude them from a relationship?

I do not agree. I did my own sample and my results showed most were lifestyle Dommes.

By the way....6 days on the site and a whiney post already. Nothing like making a good impression on those female Dommes you are trying to attract. Guess what?? When those Dommes check out your profile they'll read your forum posts to get an idea of the type of person you are.

Ok that was a bit cheeky, but please know that the energy you are putting out reflects always and acuratly what you are getting back....the law of attraction.

my advice:

Start seeing the non pros, focus on them, celibrate each one even the totally unavailable ones....send them compliments and smiles....ask how you can serve them, really serve them, what ever they need....get into the mindset of the servant, the submissive...choose to serve with out expectaion of reward....

There are lots of prodommes on this site. Why? Because it's a kink oriented site, that's why.

However, there are also a shit ton of the 18-20 yr old female dominant profiles, each with a single blurry bikini picture, asking for tribute. Somehow, I doubt if they are actually pro dommes.

What is interesting is what another poster pointed out - the demand is for hot (see: hot pics), young women (under 25, mostly late teens or early 20s), not for mature women or plain women, so what does that tell you about submissive men?

Oh, and I would guess that at least 50% of the "pros" you see with the pictures in that age range are really men pretending to be women to scam other men out of their money.
