Trying to think of fun things, and keep coming up with sad ones <pouts>.

* I was a DJ for the college radio.  Played a lot of Blues; actually learned quite a bit about music as well as machinery.  (Have since forgotten all of it.)

* My parents were 'pink'; a term for communist sympatizers back in the '50's.

* I have no middle name.

* My GPAs in high school and college were abysmal.

* I didn't learn the facts of life till after I had lost my virginity -- I was a bit confused about what had happened.

* I'm scottish and find everything about my own culture annoying -- from the bagpipes (sorry) to the plaid to the golf, etc.  I wish I were French or Italian -- now there are cultures!

* My idea of hell on earth is the Las Vegas Strip.

* The nuns told us during the school day about Kennedy's assaination, then made us do an air raid drill as the roaving hordes of Protestants were due by any minute.  They seemed puzzled when nobody showed up to riot.

* Last one:  I was forbidden to ask any questions during Religious Instruction, after asking why Jesus had no siblings.  I mean, the Immaculate Conception had already occured; the Son of God was already alive on earth; so why couldn't Mary and Joseph have a family?  I was 9 at the time.

Do you want ooooh or eeeeww?

For oooh...  hm.  Well, I've been run over by a truck, fallen off the side of a mountain while mountain-biking, fallen off of a 40 foot cliff, been in quite a few fights and never, ever broken a bone.

Edit: I did get something that *might* have been a hairline fracture in my hip during OSUT (one site unit training, a.k.a. BASIC + extra pain and suffering.) It cost me two weeks mandatory crutches, which you might think would have been a reason for me to have less PT.  You might.  You'd be wrong, but you could try thinking that... I sure as hell thought so until corrected...

I've wanted my hair to be silver-white since I started writing. I think it is beautiful. <.<; And I bet it would look SWEET with blue streaks.

Speaking as someone who's had silver sideburns since my early twenties, it's overrated.  I can kinda see the beauty in the picture you're painting here, but you should be very happy with what you've got now, babe.

He he, she didn't find it too funny. She had the most pretty long dark hair too, always playing with it.  Gotta love hitting close to home, ya know.

I was a choir boy who sang for the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh
That same choir also released a record (pre-cd days)
I missed out on playing for the English American Football team though injury
I was one of the last two Ministry of Defence apprentices before the YTS schemes were introduced

Between 20 and 21 I had 5 myocardial infarctions (heart attacks), 2 of the last 3 I drove 30+ miles to the ER, the last was in the ER and would have been enough to kill if it weren't for age and fitness.

Okay, in my mind I linked those together, and I was thinking, "how did he injure himself in the choir so badly that he couldn't play football? Fall off the stage or sumthin'???"

Dude in the ER:  A cement truck ran over me, what happened to you?
Stusmobile:  Choir injury man, it's brutal.

Never really liked that term, "babe". It just comes across... Ew.
However...

I don't plan to have silver sideburns.
