Check out the movie Willow some time. He's a crazy guy who happens to do the hero thing.

Also it is quite possible the only role I've ever liked Val Kilmer in.

Kilmer is uncanny in The Doors. I saw the Doors once in Columbus, OH in 1969.

Ever seen Val in The Salton Sea? Now there's a freaky film.

i love bad tv. with the exception of Springer - i still have limits.

in 1990's oh the era of the mighty dot com boom i once owned over a quarter million in stock options.  oh the mighty collapse they weren't even worth a cent per stock option later.

Yeah..although I never saw the Doors live.. based on pics I've seen of Jim...and everything I'd ever read about him, I think Val nailed it (god knows he had an -good word- uncanny resemblence to Jim, in that film.. )

Never heard of Salton Sea, that I can think of.. *runs to pull up IMDB*

i'll have one in sociology as well as a BA in sociology but to do what i'm really interested in any justice i'm going to need pysch as well. a MA in pysch will make me a hell of lot more marketable on the job market as well, and it'll be cheaper in the long run than a soc PhD which is something like the second longest program on the grad level on average.

Wow, grats on your Masters! You have way more patience than I do for schooling, I tolerate my classes, but barely.

I don't think that is very crazy, and I wish you luck! I was working on a BA in psych myself, and I loved it!

Although I give blood a few times a year, I'm really scared to do it because I hate the thought of a needle in my vein.  I've fainted a few times while it happens, but I still do it because I want to be helpful if someone needs my blood (though I really hate it).

when i was a young woman, i was a go-go dancer & worked for the Mafia...after i had my daughter, the laws changed so that topless was legal--have i mentioned that i'm really freakin old?--a friend started managing a topless place & called me to offer me a job...i was waaaaay too shy & my boobs were tiny, so i turned her down...after i hung up, my boyfriend asked what the call was about & when i told him he said i was right to turn it down cause i "wouldn't have the nerve to do it"...i called her back immediately & asked when i could start!!  i was the topless dancer with the smallest tits in the biz!!

Fluffy, if you do some research and talk to folks in the field that are working, you will find that a MSW is far more "marketable" than a Masters in Psych. You can't get a license to practice counselling or any kind of therapy without a PhD in Psych, whereas, with an MSW, you can be licensed in most states to do various kinds of counselling.
