blackbeard519 -> The Ultimate Form of Submission (6/28/2008 4:42:09 PM)

I've seen this phrase mentioned a few times.  Sometimes in a way that makes me think it is the poster's biggest turn on.

...and I don't mean being aroused by submission, I mean by the act itself.

When the act itself gives you pleasure, is it really an ultimate form of submission?

To me an "ultimate form of submission" would involve something that the submissive isn't really wild about.  Such as willingly surrendering a limit.

I dont believe there is an ultimate form of submission. If that were true, than anything else you were to do to or for someone would fall short. I prefer consistant submission, not striving for that ultimate act.

I'm not into martydom.  I understand why so many feel the need to make only what you do NOT like into "real submission" but that's just bullshit.

Submission is about fulfillment of self, doing what is right and true for you to do.  Whether you happen to like it in that moment does not mean take or give anything about it.

Valid point.

Now, enjoying something doesn't mean that a person still isn't submitting when doing it, but when phrases like "ultimate" start getting tossed around...

lally3 -> RE: The Ultimate Form of Submission (6/28/2008 5:26:10 PM)

i think the ultimate form of submission would be to lay your head on a block and get it chopped off - nothing else could follow and so you might as well.

going beyond a limit for your D and calling it 'ultimate submission' sounds a bit theatrical and egotistical.

have visions of a sub, dressed in virginal white hanging over a snake pit with a look of pious virtue etched across her pale stoic face.

but to answer your question (sorry) - and you say youve seen it mentioned - ultimate submission could exist from pleasure, infact im sure that is what it means because i cant get my head around the other option atall, maybe someone will come along and explain it.  to be honest, why would it have to be a pushed limit and an act of extreme difficulty for it to qualify as ultimate submission. it could just be that their submission has become the ultimate to them.

[image]http://www.collarchat.com/upfiles/smiley/bowdown.gif[/image] AMEN to that!  Man, LA, you can soooo sum things up[:)].  I agree 1,000%.  Master and I joke all the time about how I'll never be the "slaviest slave" since I actually enjoy serving and submitting in all the ways He desires.  Since I'm not suffering, I must not "really" be "submitting," right?  Give me a break[:'(].................luci

Ultimate submission sounds like one of those Japanese endurance game shows where they stick them in a glass box in the middle of summer and watch them lose half their body weight.

Then they make them eat chilli powder or something and drag them across thorns.

It could be.

It would also be a bit crazy.

Let's say there's a sub named Bubba Joe. Few things on God's green earth makes Bubba Joe's dick harder than kissing a woman's feet. Bubba Joe's mistress tells him to kiss her feet, and he does so, with great enthusiasm.

He's submitting.

But what if Bubba Joe hated feet, like Bill Clinton hates Kenneth Starr? His mistress tells him to kiss her feet, and despite throwing up a little in his mouth, Bubba Joe does so, because his desire to please and obey his dominant is stronger than his hatred of feet.

He's submitting.

Is there NO difference between the two?

My act of 'Ultimate Submission" would be cleaning the litterbox and cat room. Luckily Papa is fine with my everyday do all the other chores submission. Litterboxes are a hard limit for me....

blackbeard519 -> RE: The Ultimate Form of Submission (6/28/2008 5:56:24 PM)

I think some people are mixing up "ultimate submission" with submission.

You don't have to suffer to submit, but when you start adding things like "ultimate" there should be something to qualify it, yes?

dcnovice -> RE: The Ultimate Form of Submission (6/28/2008 6:02:00 PM)

I feel like I should somehow incorporate this into the ultimate Collarme question, but I'm not sure I have it in me right now.

ThundersCry -> RE: The Ultimate Form of Submission (6/28/2008 6:02:09 PM)

The ultimate? I am like the other lady said...

Slice my jugler...please <looking in her eyes of course> feeling the blade...begin...

Ya...

IrishMist -> RE: The Ultimate Form of Submission (6/28/2008 6:02:12 PM)

The ultimate form of submission?

To jump in front of a moving vehicle with the intention of pushing another out of the way. Of course, ALMOST ANY compassionate human being would do this for another so I guess we all have ultimatly submitted....dontchathink?

Raechard -> RE: The Ultimate Form of Submission (6/28/2008 6:04:20 PM)

We've not even started to debate penultimate submission yet.[8|]

I have ultimately submitted to my most vulgar Self when my damn coffee was "accidentially" served as de-caf.

Wait, does that even count?  Submitting to one's own multiple personalities?  Oh crap...where is my damn coffee...I'm babbling senselessly now...never mind

That's not neccesarily an act of submission though, but sacrifice. [:D]
