Here's where we talk about watching a movie and seeing famous actors playing small roles because they were just starting their careers .

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest had Danny Devito and Christopher Lloyd as mental patients. They were so good I didn't think they were acting..

My dad always says that, esp about Lloyd, because it was well known it was filmed in a mental hospital and some extras were patiants.

James Mcavoy was in wimbledon as the brother (i only know that because it was on yesterday)

I doubt Danny Devito or Christopher Lloyd had to do much 'character' changing lol.

Before acting George Clooney tried out for the Cincinnati Reds (basketball) but failed to make the cut.

The original Little Shop of Horrors (not the musical '60) had Jack Nicholson. He was great in the role of the Dentist's Patient

was nothing as a child star....but can be seen in my stepmother was an alien.

who later in her 20s became the famous lesbian redheaded witch from buffy....which opened doors for tv to portray more lesbian roles! L word wasnt even in existance!

she became uber famous for american pie!

but now her career is DEAD....stuck on a not to good show called how i met your mother...and sporting black hair (which is no good for her)

GT, did you ever read the original story? Highly recommended, it's by Harlan Ellison.

True Romance had James Gandolfini as a hit man, and also Brad Pitt as a dope-smoking cartoon-watching roommate of a more important character
