Well, Julianne Moore used to be on As the World Turns.

so was Meg Ryan.
and Jason Biggs.
Actually As the World Turns turned out many film and music stars...

Then we have:
Richard Dean Anderson (Macgyver) was on General Hospital

Kim Cattrall- Porky's (locker room girl who got off on the stench of sweat)
Sarah Jessica Parker- Square Pegs

Lawrence Fishburn played Cowboy Curtis on Pee Wee's Playhouse . . . and before that he was "on the boat" in Apocalypse Now

and those two lead to other alumni:

2 more Pee Wee's Playhouse alums are Phil Hartman (as Captain Carl) and S.Epatha Merkerson (as Reba the mail lady)

another Apocalypse Now alum was Harrison Ford -- he was one of the Army guys sending Martin Sheen on the mission

Seth Green (aka Scott Evil of Austin Powers among other things) was on one of the best episodes of Steven Spielberg's Amazing Stories - "The Sitter".  He was about 10 or so, a bratty kid who torments the babysitters with his younger sibling and gets the tables turned on him. .

Kevin Spacey in Glengarry Glen Ross -- that had a star studded cast including Al Pacino, Ed Harris, Jack Lemmon, Alec Baldwin and even Alan Arkin in the major roles, so I was wondering "who the hell is this guy?" to see Spacey among them too. Little did I know then . . .

Before that I guess some folks noticed him in a tv show called Wiseguy where his character appeared a few times, but I didn't watch that.

Twilight Zone marathon on the Sci Fi channel today! They are promoting it with a "Before they were stars" ad showing Robert Redford, Jack Klugman, Robert Duvall and some others.

Right now I'm watching the classic episode "To Serve Man", and the alien most often seen is played by Richard Kiel -- you probably remember him as Jaws in the James Bond flicks.

Actually, Johnny Depp was in the original Nightmare on Elm Street......played the boyfriend to the lead female's character.  I think he ended up getting sucked into his bed.
