The first Never Ending Story. The book is obviously better, but the part where Artax sinks into the swamp... [:(]

Sailor Moon R, where Princess Serenity dies. Still gets me...[:(]

Oh, well, crap.

Gets me every time. [:(]

Am I one of the only people who cries out of sheer joy during a movie.

Like, a moment happens that you just feel so incredibly happy for the character that you just squeeze out some tears?

[&o] .... I cry during SPCA commercials.

The Joy Luck Club, The Killing Fields (the ending with John Lennon's Imagine says it all), and Hotel Rwanda

actually my eyes swell with tears but i don't allow myself an emotional breakdown ...don't want my girls seeing me cry.

LadyRainfire -> RE: Are you crying?? (7/2/2008 6:03:09 AM)

The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (Rex Harrison and Gene Tierney) is my standby when I need a cry and can't, for whatever reason.

The King and I with Yul Brynner.

Pay It Forward is excellent, The 6th Sense also had me crying at one point. Children of Dune had me crying when Chani dies and Paul is holding her. Green Mile and Shawshank Redemption as mentioned. I'm an emotional basketcase though and admit it. I cry at good movies. Sad or happy. Shoot - I started crying when Hotty mentioned that her foster-babies might be going to a wonderful home! [:(]

sirsholly -> RE: Are you crying?? (7/2/2008 6:04:21 AM)

[:D]  I like my men young and movies older, what can I say?   [sm=tongue.gif][sm=sodoff.gif]

(Besides, those were the ones I remembered right off the top of my head - my movie collection hasn't arrived from Idaho yet....)

sambamanslilgirl -> RE: Are you crying?? (7/2/2008 6:51:11 AM)

don't knock the oldies - Hollywood was at it's finest back then.

cjan -> RE: Are you crying?? (7/2/2008 6:56:41 AM)

Scarface. I just sob when Al finally goes down and crashes into the fountain at the end. *sobs*

Adding another one that I cannot believe I totally forgot that but is a real tear jerker.. The best dramatic movie ever made"

Leaving LasVegas

the extra sad part about that one, the author of the book it's based upon killed himself two weeks into production of the movie.
