Satisfying someone else's desire, on its own, makes a poor foundation for a lasting marriage. Other details about the relationship might provide additional reasons for matrimony, but aside from length of time (also a somewhat poor indicator on its own), those details aren't in the question.

OP, i think people should marry if that is what they both want. marriage means different things to different people. look inside and figure out if it is for you, talk to her about it and go from there. i don't see how asking this question on the forums is going to help you two. you both need to communicate the shit out of the subject and decide for yourselves if it is for you.

[:D] As for the marriage question, just because that's her only unfulfilled desire seems a pretty flimsy excuse for getting married, unless there is a lot more that you aren't telling. Would you be willing to divorce her after a few months if that's what she wanted too?

NO, I personaly would not. Women for some reason have to images of themselves. One as girlfriend and one as wife. The wife images does not necessarity work out.
