I'm gearing up for something called the Ravelympics, Angel. It's just a fun event on a website called Ravelry for fibre arts like knitting and crocheting where we're doing events like the hat dash, scarf stroke, baby dressage, sweater sprint, hand-dyed hurdles, things like that, where we have to knit or crochet a project from start to finish from the opening ceremonies to the closing ceremonies of the Olympics. [:D] I'm on Team Canada in several events.

cute! when do the olympics start again? i might have to see if the tv still works. i'm just starting an applique project. it's got redheaded angels, angels etc... should get you and gwyns and red's fave colours. i got three stars i'm putting in the first panel and i haven't figured out what colours to make them yet. y'all are such drama queens and all ETA: the first angel's got a deep red paisley dress on, a blue pinny with green leaves and ladybugs, apple green shoes and feathery gold wings. (can you tell i like bright colours?)

Yeaaaaaaa - drama. Not. [:D] Lumus would restrict me from the computer if I got caught up in too much drama. And I love earth tones and jewel tones. As for the Olympics, opening ceremonies are at 8 pm on 8 August Beijing time. 8 am my time. I need to cast on at that time according to the contest rules. I'm starting out with a hat and scarf set, I'll need one for the winter here.
