My two cents as a sub male (apologies for forum-jacking), Physical attractiveness certainly gets your attention, but it is a fairly short-term response. I have plenty of female friends who are very attractive, but after being around them for a while, the visceral impact of that fades. Pretty soon, you just see them as "that girl who I work with/go to the gym with/play ball with" or whatever. Intelligence is, at least for me, sort of the opposite of this. It can have a immediate impact, but to really understand the depth of someone's intelligence, you need to be around them for a while. The sexiness of intelligence therefore builds over time. Looks are nice, don't get me wrong (they are also correlated to some degree with fitness, which is also a big turn-on), but a high IQ can make someone of average looks very desirable, and women who are both physically attractive and very highly intelligent are absolutely mind-bending in their effect on me. I'm a science geek, I can't help it- I like women with large... brains. :)

To me someone who is not " intellegent" is someone who refuses to be open minded about things they don't know about yet, but are ready to jump to conclusions. Or someone who ( as a sub/slave/pet) is not willing to learn new things at my side. I like to be able to carry a conversation about things that interest me with them. They dont have to be smooth with lines or words ( written or otherwise), but the ability to carry on a conversation is a must.

syntax and grammar are not my strong suits. If you people are going to use big words on here please explain their meaning. A woman more intelligent than me (if such a woman existed) would be a huge turn on for me. The men who are turned off by a womans intelligence are the uneducated ones.

My initial reaction is yes, of course intelligent women are attractive. I like nerdy girls, gamer chicks, and socially awkward scienctist women. However, I think the problem is, as usual, one of definition. What is an intelligent woman? A woman capable of learning and digesting information in a rational way. Thats fine but I do not think when we say "intelligent" woman we are defining that solely as a woman with a PhD. For me the ideal intelligent woman is a woman who learns from life and uses her abilities and knowledge to foremost. There has to be wisdom and common sense there. I know many intelligent women who are not grammar-files, do not have college educations, and have taken their life experiences and turned them into a nice chunk of wisdom, even at a relatively early age. As such I am lucky to be involved with two very intelligent women right now. However, there are people (male and female) who are sweet and wonderful and devoted who are not wise even if they are educated. So I am not attracted to them for their "intelligence" but for other ethereal qualities that they may exhibit.

I once read this description of a fictional character's unfaithful wife, and found it very amusing and somewhat truthful of certain women I've known... "She's not a bad person- it's just that when she runs out of things to say to a man, she pulls down her panties." - W.E.B. Griffin, "The Brotherhood of War". I've dated women on both extremes of the intelligence scale, and come to the conclusion that highly intelligent women are a huge turn-on for me sexually, and extremely appealing in all other areas of a relationship as well. I've always dated older women (and later married one), thinking that age = wisdom/intelligence.... NOT SO! As a submissive/bottom, I greatly prefer Dommes of equal or greater intelligence than me; it makes submitting/trusting Them so much easier, and relieves me of the burden of being the "one in charge", mentally speaking. It's also an ego-boost to know that a highly intelligent woman made an informed choice to be with, or play with me- and I try that much harder to be worthy of Her attentions, and please Her in whatever manner She wishes me to.

Politsub all women are attractive. My point is that a high school drop(looks aside) out is not very likely to hook up with a college graduated woman in marriage. I will use my son for example. He is a high school grad. My daughter is a college Grad. My son will be the first to tell you that he has nothing in common with my daughters college friends because of their education. For the most part intelligent people attract intelligent people. Im not saying that my son is not intelligent. Just a different type of intelligence.

Personally ... I have no moral high ground when it comes to physical attraction ... I have screwed many thick but pretty women but as a vanilla bisexual femme, and by screwed I mean as totally disposable one night stand ... I have never had a problem Topping a thick but pretty woman, but again in a fairly disposable context always losing interest quickly... I cannot bring myself to submit to .. or even play with a stupid women as a bottom- my idea of hell is being owned by some prancing Princess Moron Goddess. Intelligent, cutting, rapier witted women are hot ... couple that with a dollop of potent sexual power... and I have trouble keeping my knickers up.

It really depends in the context that you are framing this attractiveness. I personally find intelligence in general attractive in anyone--male or female. It doesn't mean however I neccessarily want to fuck them though. If looking to get your proverbial "rocks off," I could care less about her ability, say, for her to formulate an opinion or ruminate on some obscure or esoteric notion like a Satre reinterpretation of Marxist existentialism. And if there is any correlation between intelligence and sexual ability, it is a weak one at best. Sexual attractiveness is not just a physical matter of course, but it is a very important one. However politically incorrect it is to admit it out loud, physical attractiveness is a primal reaction. True attraction however does not end there. I work in a profession where I meet many women from around the world, and it long ceased to astound me just how incredibly nausiatingly stupid and ignorant some can truly be; but so are many ugly women. It is just stupidity gets more highlighted in the background glitter of beauty and makes a greater mockery of it. Rare is finding a woman of both true beauty and intelligence. Personally, I would never settle for a stupid woman, but neither would I with an average let alone an ugly woman--and if I had to choose I would much rather be with a stupid yet beautiful woman for the night so long as she doesn't talke and be with an ugly genius during the day. In the realm of attractiveness, both physicality and intelligence, as well as character come into strong play It is not an either-or proposition.
