Are there any Dominant men here that are attracted to, or have had serious relationships with Dominant women? I have noticed a few Dominant women here that state that they are seeking a Dominant man. I rarely notice profiles of Dominant males that state they are seeking Dominant women. Would any of you Masters consider a serious long-term, monogamous relationship with a Dominant woman? Inquiring minds want to know! [:D]

I can see how a woman that is described as dominant would be a perfect fit for a more dominant man. They could actually bring out parts of each other that would otherwise go untapped. I personally prefer strong intelligent women, and that is exactly what my slave is. When we met she was still doing sessions as a fem-dom. To each their own though.

I think what MzMia (and me) are driving at is a DOMINANT WOMAN, not someone taking on a role, or interested in becoming a slave, and a dominant male partner. I have to wonder, MzMia, wouldn't that mean that they would have to be poly to some degree, if they had submissives?

I always wonder about that Francine. I have seen Dominant couples that seek female submissives, so that makes them poly. I don't see that many Dominant couples that don't seek a 3rd, or are not switches.

I just went with the literal meaning of her question, assuming that the woman was more dominant than others... My answer would still stand, that I believe a good relationship would be possible and probably very beneficial to both, once they were able to figure out the "alpha" alpha for the various aspects of their lives together. It may even to lead to some very interesting compromises between the 2.

My previous partner was a dominant and while we had rough sex there wasn't much submission in our relationship, it was sort of just Klingon sex without any real power exchange. I am currently flirting with a woman who is also a domme and she definitely wants to submit to me. BSB is certainly my equal although in our relationship she was submissive to me but we certainly didn't adhere strictly to any sort of role. I've been in a committed, sexually monogamous relationship with my fiance' for about 7 years. We are both dominants and I can't imagine a better relationship, in the physical, mental and spiritual sense.

D/s is not the primary selection criteria for me for a mate. I would absolutely not reject an otherwise good partner because she happened to be dominant. Depending on the exact dynamic, it'd go vanilla or (less likely but still posible) I'd end up sub. In fact, I have serious doubts whether I would actually want to be the dominant in another relationship. This one kind of happened organically and we're enjoying it a great deal but that doesn't mean I'd necessarily seek to repeat it.
