That coffee story is really sweet. :)

Speaking of keeping the urn, my mother seems to be "collecting" cremains. She's got 3 now; a senior woman we used to help out that became like family, her mother, and my cousin. Oddly enough, she just never got around to doing anything with them. She talks to her mom and in a way, she's really there to listen.

I don't have any desire to take up space in a graveyard. It seems like such a waste of precious resources. Organ donation and cremation seems the way to go. But, I had better outlive my mother because I don't want to add to her collection! LOL!

I am like the process my beloved, late HPS took, cremation and the ashes being placed in a grove of trees at Circle Santuary. And I want an old fashioned Irish wake with dancing and singing and storytelling and crying and drinking for my friends and family.

You know, it IS a little surprising that no one (that I've found) makes a dildo-urn. I mean, why not? I'd certainly like to know I'm still bringing pleasure to either my spouse, or one of my fuckbuddies after I'm gone... Hell, considering that your ashes take up the equivilent of a 3 pound bag of sugar, you could fill at least a couple... If the dildo-urn were made of some flexible material, the ashes would make for a nice heft, and firmness to the final product...

Sure as hell beats sitting on a shelf!

As i saw this thread scrolling by my initial thoughts were: quickly, painlessly, and cheaply.

But in all seriousness, i've always REALLY liked the viking funerals. Being set on the ocean (or river i suppose) set on fire is really appealing to me.

At first I wanted to be buried... but I had stipulations.. I wanted to buried with a blanket... * cause I will get cold yeah I am dead what will it matter but still * lol But in May I had to go to my bosses ex wife's funeral. And I am sorry they put her in a hole that had like 3 inches of water in it... and the hole she was in was not 6 feet deep. I called my mom and told her if she put me in a hole when I died * provided she outlived me* that I would come back and haunt her... (told my brother the same thing). So after seeing that I want to be cremated. I am an organ donor. So if there is anything left that is of any use to anyone then they can have it.
If money was no object I want to be stuffed so I can annoy my kids even after death :D

Sky burials are pretty cool... But I certainly wouldn't want to clean up the pieces, so I wouldn't want anyone else to, either...

In some places they used to bury grandma under the living room floor... Creepy.

I think it would be kinda cool to be a donor... Organs to living people... The rest of the bits to science... Although I'd have to make sure to shave. I don't want some cute little doctor-to-be looking at my goody goodies and have them be all hairy.

This just reminded me...

When my Dad was too ill to get up and check his email, he would have me check it for him, print them out, and bring them to him. Suffice to say, I had his email login.

After he died, one of my sisters pulled away from the family and even wrote my mother a rather cruel and ridiculous letter, and hasn't contacted anyone for nearly 2 years now. So one day last Christmas season I was hanging out with Mom and one of my brothers and I said, "Hey I should email "A" from Dad's account, and just write: Call your mother."

HA! I'm still contemplating it....

My mom has a serious Spanish accent (being from Spain and all). She gets words mixed up a lot. She was trying to say she wants to be cremated. Instead she said, "I want to be incriminated." Heh.

So yeah, we're gonna incriminate my mother...

I know this may sound weird, but if it is still up and running, or if the building is even in existance when I pass away, I want to be buried inside the haunted house I work for. It's my life and my passion, and ok...I'm a little twisted. There is a "graveyard" there already with plenty of dirt, so it wouldn't be too difficult. Of course, I would settle for just having my ashes scattered there if it came to that.
