Yes, unfortunately I was interupted in mid-read earlier. Damned work anyway. And yes, we were blessed in hitting it off right away, I've always loved our communications. Whether it's a quick thoughtful, put a smile on my face, email or one of, our one hour plus, phone conversations. Something we are overdue on again.
As far as testing or being tested. I think that perhaps that mindset might come from someone that has a tendency to rush into a relationship before getting to know the person as a human being.
If I say, "I am dominant, hear me roar!!! You must obey me!" from the moment I begin communicating with someone.........I am probably going to be suspect. I would expect to get hysterical laughter in return, not instant submission.
If I say something like "Hi! I'm LeeAnn. Let's hang out/talk/whatever.." Well, then I might get a "bugger off" but usually I get a "hello...........etc etc." in return. Where that goes depends on a multitude of things like chemistry, similar likes and dislikes, etc etc.
I don't believe in the concept of, add water instant relationship, of ANY sort. So, that all being said, I think that if people take time getting to know one another, the need for "testing" one another is greatly reduced. I kinda like that, old fashioned slow cookin, sort of concept.
