In order to have someone be true or real to you, should they not be true or real to themselves? And I say, as I said before, 10/14/2005 10:24:13 PM: Don't you just love the way so many people try to tell you what a true master (or true sub) is? They are trying to fit others into their own mold and idea of what that is, when it seems to me that the truth is only within ourselves. When we are true to ourselves, our philosophies, our needs, and what *we* determine to be true, then we are that true master or true submissive. What we seek, then, is the true counterpart to what we have become. And only we... and that other person... can really define what that is. That being said, doesn't it stand to reason that we BOTH have to believe that the other person is true or real? So even if the other person thinks they are (which many would doubt if they have to state so in their name), what really matters is whether we agree with them? If they think so, and we do not, then in our mind, they ARE not. Only what we believe is true, is true for US. Make sense? Carolsea
