Ahhh, Adrian is not an English name, it was used by the English Pope, maybe thats where the association comes from?

All you need to beat Roman Centurions is 100 Spartans I saw this in a film, this is where I get all my knowledge about history.

You may have invented the TV but just who made the money by licensing it? If you'd thought of that first you could have had real tax raising powers instead of the weak ones the Scottish parliament has. The second generation always benefits from the mistakes of the first.

An argument for me which is wasted ,The UK if it were a family unit would at best be described as disfunctional , that said im opposed to any devolution north or south of the border(yes the horse has bolted) , whilst the point you raise is not going to put paramilitaries on the streets it is this very philosophy of division that creates the hatred in countries such as Northern Ireland .And the misguided bigotry of the OP http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3mqtXQAunw

I'd say the opposite. I think England, Scotland and Wales has been a pretty impressive unit over the years. For me, though, the purpose of Great Britain/UK has ran its course. The irony will be that while the Scots and Welsh dither over devolution, momentum will gain ground among the English, which it is; and the Scots and Welsh will argue for the union while the English will argue against it (after all of these years of cries of 'English oppression').
