Personally, I found the effects of using Ginger quite sensual and satisfying

But I found MaryAnn to be more flexible and open to exploration.

The discussion, so far, has been interesting but raises a question of my own. I have experimented with "figging" with ginger root (not Tina Louise, the actress from "Gilligan's Island") three times in the past. I have used it both in the anus and in the urethra. I was disappointed. I felt a slight warming and tingling that lasted about 3 minutes and then my only feeling was that I had something inside these orifices. My experience makes me wonder if (1) I got some "weak" ginger three times in the past.... or....(2) if perhaps I am not sensitive to it. Can anyone shed some enlightenment/experience about this?

I'd say one of your guesses is probably accurate. It could be that you had old ginger, peeled it too far in advance or didn't score it to let the juices flow. It may also be that it's just not your thing . .. some folks just don't seem to react much to it while for others of us, it's a blast.. albeit a fairly short one in any event.
