I am so sad, on so many levels, and for so many reasons. You know some of them. I understand what you are doing, but a big part of me wishes the whole world was happy, and the Florida contingent were all getting on a plane to LA for a party....
 
But, life is in the journey, after all, and we can't always know or plan the road we take.
 
I wish you growth, insight, strength, introspection, enlightenment, happiness and love.

  I'm sorry we only talked about meeting, but never got the chance to actually do it.
I'm also more sorry than I can say that things didn't go as you hoped they would. I've always enjoyed reading your posts and the few "back and forths" we've had. You're a man of honor and integrity. You will be missed while you are gone. I do hope to someday post to the "Just when you thought it was safe...I'm back!" thread.
  In the meantime...With much respect I wish you all the best along life's journey. Take care my friend.

I wish you the best in your journey and hope you find the inner peace you seek.  You and I have never had the pleasure of speaking back and forth since I rarely post though I read the forums every day and will miss seeing your insight, advice, cynicism, growth, ups and downs.  I'm yet one more in a long line that has learned from your words and would like to say "Thank You" for reminding me that I am not alone in much of what I think.

It is in fact sad that you are going.  But I have to be honest...its a sorta attention whore-ish kinda way of doing things.  If things are really as you say they are, the proper way to leave would be just in a small mail to close friends.  At any rate, I do wish you well.

All the farewell ass kissing reminds me of when a person passes away. Ya know, everyone remembers how great of a person they were and how much they will be missed. When truthfully, they could care less. If you think everyone is here for the "right reasons", you would be mistaken. Take some time off if you need it(and grow a pair) then come back.

Yes I'm Gorean and i won't coddle you, so you in turn, may not like me.

I didn’t know Michael, Simply Michael or Crappy Dom but I shall miss the void they played in my life. Like the high notes in a piece of music, you can’t distinguish as a non-canine, effect other notes that you can hear thus the effect is felt none the less.

i have to admit i've seen plenty of  goodbye, i'm deleting my profile ...riding off to the sunset now threads on other sites i've been a member of. then the threads itself become oh, wow, so sad to see you leave us ...you mean so much to me type of funeral montage of mourning.

i'm with Kyttyn and Icarys - i personally don't mourn or coddle like others have done here.

yes, he was a valued member of community there's no argument from me about that. i did, in my own way, appreciated his threads but telling him now wouldn't matter - what's the point of doing that?  however the way he exited did slightly tarnish the respect and admiration had for him.

my pov and i stand by it - word for word.

I really loathe those kind of spiteful posts that end with something like "Take Care". [:'(]
Can I just say while I've only read a few of the books I can't remember anything being written or a Gorean saying to me "As part of the don't coddle Gorean ethic we must also be a real bitch."
Your right I dont like your actions, but its nothing to do with you claiming to be Gorean.


Michael your a great guy and Ill miss your input around here.

Hopefully we will have you around again after giving yourself the breather you need.

Chuckles. If you had read those books, you might see people whining with the whoa is me attitude, done away with. My statements still stand.Grow a pair Michael. For all the coddling ass kissers.Loosen the lips a little. A real friend would tell a person how they feel. You do a disservice by not calling him on the attention whoring. Some of you are chronic attention whores so i can see how you might jump to his defense As for anyone being respected on the forums..That's worth about as much as the paper it's printed on..
