I call them by their name until they earn some sort of respect from me.

Status: offline 		i would take my lead from how im introduced...what the person themselves prefer etc.. i dont have any qualms about calling someone Master or Sir.. i love formalities...i gotta admit too, when someone calls me slave even tho they arent my Master..it does make me perk up and smile and get all those feel goods going *grin*

Status: offline 		in privacy i expect to be addressed as sir or master and in public, depending on if im with friends or family, either sir or by name.

Status: offline 		If it's the first meeting or two, and we're in publick, i use their name. If the talks have moved to a more private area where things get more personal i use Sir. i have to admit, however, that it's been so long for me, Sir is no longer as automatic as it used to be. <sigh>

i call him master ,or sir,
but,
i get tired and i can slip, and, i might say" massa"..... and, then they might think i'm making fun ,of them...
,that's like: a lesbian can say:"ok,.... that's it:.... HEY, LEZO,!!".... ,
to her lovers' face... (maybe....), but,
no one else can
call the person, that...,
.but, if you're having a' moment'
you can call anyone anything ,without asking, but, i would, just ask:" how MAY I adress you?....
,from ,now ,on?....( is it o.k.?)

Status: offline 		Normally I refer to them as 'Master' unless I'm introduced to them in a setting where that isn't appropriate. (Such as when small children are along)

Status: offline 		I call them by their given name unless we have moved on to a more formal address (if we ever do). Then i call a Dom Master, i never got into the habit of calling him Sir.

I always thought it was so funny when in a channel, chat room or even in IMs being addressed as sir but once you met they suddenly address you by name. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind, I've even let it be known in chats be they one on one or groups that sir was not required. Yet, they still say errrrrr type it.

IMO, go with the name unless this is someone you seriously respect and want to call sir.

Status: offline 		I called Him, Sir. I have posted many times that it was for the most part how i was raised.

I now call Thorns: Master, Sir, Ya Evil Rat Bastid, Evil Man,and sometimes....yes, sometimes i even say: You Evil Fuck!!
Rarely do i call Him by His given name, but there are times for when i have too.

When I meet anyone, I call them by name.

If we enter into an authority transfer relationship with me on the bottom end, I address them however they like. Until then - their name is as formal as I get.
