The Stratosphere has rooms on Thursday for $35.  It's the Friday and Saturday price that skyrockets.  There is a motel less than a block away, The Aztec Inn, that runs about $45 per night. Traveler reviews show it is a clean, basic room, no frills.  The restaurant is given good marks, with comments like "tasty home-cooking".  Looks like a number of people stay at the Stratosphere during the week and then move to the Aztec for the weekend.  It doesn't look like this motel is available to reserve from travel sites, but google will pull up their phone number.

All hell - I'll call in sick for you! We're leaving at 10:00!

We're planning on leaving at 9:00 but usually going into the 'dungeon' play room to pick out what toys we're bringing somehow always takes longer than projected.

Status: offline 		On Sunday afternoon we have Steel's brother's play.  We're still not sure of the start time, probably somewhere between noon and 2 pm.  Other than that, I think most everybody wants to go to the Friday night munch.
