slvemike4u -> Hillary's speech:opinion's (8/26/2008 8:15:37 PM)

Hillary defied all the conspiracy theorists,and made a pointed and direct speech in support of Obama's run...

FatDomDaddy -> RE: Hillary's speech:opinion's (8/26/2008 8:17:40 PM)

I doubt Obama's people are very happy with it.

thishereboi -> RE: Hillary's speech:opinion's (8/26/2008 8:17:46 PM)

And you thought she was going to stand up and say don't vote for him, I want to run in 4 years?

Of course she supported him.

Yeah with the message vote for him becasue he's not Republican.

Not a ringing endorsement in any sense...the talking heads will be having a field day with that speech. McCain;s statement came out exactly 60 seconds after she delivered it as if he had an advanced copy.

Your kidding right,she talked directly to her disgruntled supporters nd pointedly told them to get behind Obama

Thadius -> RE: Hillary's speech:opinion's (8/26/2008 8:23:53 PM)

Actually I think this was her speech saying she is going to run in 4 years.  Listen to a replay or look at the text of it.

Her best speech ever. Plain and simple.

I'm just happy at least she won't be prez.  As far as the speech, anyone else notice at some points she shakes her head from side to side (as if saying no)  Body language would imply she is not being truthful, or at least insincere.  I wonder though, if it was not intentional?

Just what speech were you watching...?

Senator Clinton gave an amazing, inspiring, wonderful speech tonight.  I loved watching the crowd's reaction.  The cameras would pause on former President Bill Clinton and Chelsea, who had big smiles and tears in their eyes.  It was a nice touch having Chelsea introduce her mother on stage, on the 88th anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

I wonder if the humor in this post is intentional...body language,head movement...anyone else notice the rapid eye movement to the left...a classical sign of deception!!!!

Thadius -> RE: Hillary's speech:opinion's (8/26/2008 8:29:06 PM)

She was quoted earlier as saying:
"Eighteen million people voted for me," she said.  "18 million people give or take voted for Barack."

Where were the remarks about Obama being a good commander in chief?

FatDomDaddy -> RE: Hillary's speech:opinion's (8/26/2008 8:29:13 PM)

slvemike...

She made a policy endorsement, not a personal endorsement... there is a big difference.

They were never written.

curvyslavegirl -> RE: Hillary's speech:opinion's (8/26/2008 8:30:32 PM)

Her ability to be a poor loser never ceases to amaze me.

FatDomDaddy -> RE: Hillary's speech:opinion's (8/26/2008 8:34:36 PM)

She didn't lose anything curvy... "they" took it from her!!!

curvyslavegirl -> RE: Hillary's speech:opinion's (8/26/2008 8:35:05 PM)

/groan!

slvemike4u -> RE: Hillary's speech:opinion's (8/26/2008 8:35:47 PM)

Not really FDD, she drew strark contrasts in the choices available,and firmly backed her partys candidate....and if she had went the "personal" route who would have believed her..My bet is you would have been one of the first decrying her obviously false statements of personal endorsement.Did you really believe she was going to break into a kumbaya moment?
