Status: offline 		i would love to have to count.  You see i love mind games, and i think that is one nice one to play.  i think perhaps making you read from a book would be really hot.  i mean, how on earth can you control your reading and getting pained at the same time...lol.  i love it when a Master used mind games.  Whew...need to relax now...lol.

Status: offline 		Master has me count strokes when the strokes are given in punishment. When i do this, it seems to keep me focused on the fact that it is punishment, and not something that i am to enjoy.

Status: offline 		Hmm not sure how i feel about counting strokes.  my Dom doesn't make me count them but i have before.  i think i agree that it kind of takes you out of that wonderful head space that you enter and distracts You.  i wouldn't be opposed to it, yet i don't really know if i would thoroughly enjoy it.

Status: offline 		in my opinion counting is a way to focus in your mind and not on the pain of the cane, whip, strap belt etc. it also has a bit of humiliation in it.

Status: offline 		i would agree that it takes away from the pain.  But, its that subspace that makes the whipping all so enjoyable.  Secretly, yes...i think it would be very saddistic to make you count, because how on earth can you really concentrate on the number?  Hot indeed!

Status: offline 		I have been with Doms who made me count in the past. I did it obviously for them, but if I had my own preference, I do not like having to count. I love to concentrate on the beautiful pain and anticipate when the next hit is going to come. My last Dom didn't make me count and he was still very able to tell when I was getting to a point he did not want me to go past.

Status: offline 		lol -- this has come up with us a few times, too.  My wife counts.  She says she likes to know how many she is taking, stay 'in tune' with it, etc.  My previous slave would count if I told her to, but said counting took her mind off her feelings and she couldn't enter 'sub-space' that way.  Not a big deal to me either way, but one likes it, one didn't.

Status: offline 		i hate counting when it's me getting spanked. at a recent fetish party, it took me the fifth try to count to 20 without messing up.

on the flipside, when it's my pet getting spanked - he counts in his head while i count aloud.
